Le Vieux Saint Laurent

Clearly a popular restaurant as it has been very busy during our visit. We are a party of five and with the extensive menus offered, everyone was able to choose something that appealed to them. Service was prompt and super friendly. Sadly, we feel the quality is not what we were hoping for. Thin crepe with mushrooms and cheese was served with a sweet crepe?? The chicken souvlaki was far too over seasoned and our over easy eggs were actually medium. The club sandwich was amazing too look at and it was as delicious. #localguide

From the moment of entry we where greeted by a smiling waitress who catered to our every need and made our breakfast even more enjoyable. The food was great with generous portions and an amazing selection. Prices where very reasonable and totally worth it. Great vibe and amazing service. We got the Feast no.4 and Feast no.5, the name was dedinitely reflective of the meal. I would definitely recommend.

Really, really, really good breakfast joint on one of Montreal’s bustling boulevards. Dining space is cozy; staff are kind and courteous. Ordered “grand feast #1”—a mixed plate of traditional North American breakfast foods—and a salmon and cream cheese sandwich on a sesame bagel; both were wonderful (and reasonably priced!)

Place is good for breakfast. You might find this place slightly crowded on weekends. They have classic breakfast menu with some modification. I order egg Benedict- preparation of egg was perfect. You will get the fries in circular in shape, these fries look good on plate. For my case fries were slightly shoggy. I am not this how the recipe is meant to be. I have reduces the one star rating because fries were very salty and I had to wait for almost 40 min to get my order on the table. Rest, it's a good place for breakfast. You might not get quick breakfast on weekends, keep this in my mind before you choose.
