Chocolate Chip Banana Pancakes with Fresh Fruits and Whipped Cream . I have to say I think I'm obssesed with restaurants on Notre-Dame hahah😅. It seems like every places I post about recently is from their. Le Bon Vivant @bonvivantmtl is absolutely another resto I've added to my list for sure of hotspots on this street. . The decor in this place is really nice and cozy. It's smaller then I originally thought it was but it makes it all the more comfortable to me. . We got two things, their Gaspor Burger which was in my opinion pretty good and tasty and these yummy Pancakes. I rather enjoyed them, the bananas added into the mixture really reminded me of my childhood when my grandmother made banana bread with chocolate chips every weekend. The texture of the pancakes were exactly what I look for and the whipped cream and fruits added a nice fresh note to give the plate some added zing. . I loved the experience, and the company I had trying this new spot and I can't wait to go back and try them out for dinner one day!

Hip and trendy brunch spot with a great vibe and an open concept kitchen. I was lucky enough to get a pork belly French toast as the brunch dish of the day - juicy, crispy, fatty pork belly over apples and a thick thick slice of French toast. Delicious! It’s a bit on the pricier end for brunch, but worth every penny. Will be back for more!

I'm shocked. I heard such good things, and my experience did not at all match. We ordered a few appetizers, which were below mediocre (over-salted veggies, bread soaking in balsamic,...) and their presentation was very poor (half an empty plate? bland vegetables on dark plates?). I won't even get started on the service... But that's not what shocked me. We waited for two of the appetizers for about an hour (one of them was a toast with mushrooms on top - come on!), and when asked about their status, our request was dismissed and we were told that they're coming soon, that the restaurant was busy, and other excuses. It wasn't until the end that we got somewhat of an apology for the delay. I tried to use a gift card for this restaurant, which they didn't recognize and didn't want to check their records for the person who purchased it for me, instead opted to argue with me about it. I had to text my gifter to try and find out more details to resolve this situation. No one on their side tried to put any effort to look into resolving it, and instead made me feel guilty and responsible for this situation. Overall, I've never had such an extremely humiliating, frustrating, and food-wise disappointing experience. I will definitely never return again.

I went for a brunch on Sunday. Not packed at all. We got a table in less than 2 minutes. The staffs are nice and motivated. Services are quick. Food are good and different compared to others brunches. Music and ambience are nice. I only give 4 stars as for all my friends (myself included), our food were too salty.
