We were here with a large group for a retirement party. D.j. Francis did not come with the place, we brought him along and had great music all afternoon. There was a set menu with a choice of 4 main dishessalads available including chicken, veal, fish or vegetarian. The food arrived hot and delicious. Most of the guests really enjoyed the meal. Only one person stated that the portions on her main dish both fish and vegetables were small. I found the food well spiced and tasty. The servers were friendly and entertaining. One tried to break a record by carrying 20 wine goblets. He also carried out a double layer of trays filled with salads. A fun time for everyone.

Feels like Portugal. Beautiful decor. Loved the Tram No. 28 terrace outside. The lamb was delicious. Calimari fried and grilled were both perfectly cooked. Also had the sardines, shrimp, Piri Piri chicken, all great. Served nice hot bread rolls. Absolutely amazing white Sangria. The Nata for dessert was fresh and delicious. Friendly service too.

I always struggle with how to rate a restaurant that has great food and atrocious service. We had a reservation for six and were seated right away... After a ridiculous wait after being seated (and at least two visits by the charming owner manager guy), we finally placed our orders. After a ridiculous wait after placing our orders and several requests from our party, we finally were served some delicious, warm dinner rolls. After a ridiculous wait after the bread arrived (and after seeing people who arrived long after us enjoying their food), more bread arrived instead of our dinner. After a lot more waiting, the food arrived and it was all delicious and wonderful. We all decided to try the dessert because..."how long could it take them to put a tart on a plate?" It took something like 30 minutes to put 6 tarts on 6 plates and get it to our table. We were never offered coffee. After an ETERNITY of waiting for and repeatedly asking for the check and only after some of our party got fed up and started putting their coats on, we were finally given the opportunity to pay our bills. So......the food was good. Very good even, but not good enough to put up with zero star service. There are a great many Portuguese restaurants in Montreal. Many have food as good as this place or better. All have better service.

Two bottles of wine were necessary because my accountant, who honoured me with some free advice, also enjoyed the atmosphere and service so much, we stayed for more good food well into the night. We were enlightened by the rich history and background of the establishment and it's very interesting owner. He in turn showed us his many informal dining spaces for family or a business get together. I'm already reserving for my brother's birthday!

Came with recommendation. Disappointed! Hawfull experience. Food was good but lousy customer service. Had to ask to order as 40 minutes after being sitting down, no one bothered to ask if we wanted something to drink. Restaurant was empty (Friday 6:45pm) so what can take so much time. They offered bread which we never saw. Didn’t get offered coffee or dessert. Again had to ask to pay which took another 30 minutes. Despite the food quality, service was so bad that going back is out of the question. At 35$ for a main dish, you expect better service.
