Kazamaza

This is a great resto. The service is efficient but the food is spectacular with a vast array of spices and nuts and oils. We tried about a third of the menu, the standouts were the beef tartar, the babba ghannoush, and the lamb shank. The wine list and beers are nice. Decor is home feeling and trendy. A must try.

Go go GO to Kaza Maza. If you’re looking for a buzzy place with great food, you found it. Super fun atmosphere with affordable share plates. The service was a bit slow, but I can understand given the place was PACKED, with tables turning in minutes. It’s pretty understated, so maybe not the spot if you’re looking to wow a first date or charm a client- unless they’re foodies. The vibe leaves were a perfect started- dense and acidic, going nicely with a light, crisp fattoush. I loved the mousaqa’a, so bright, cool, and savoury. The lamb chops were killer in terms of taste, but a little fatty. But also I’d order them again, so… Best bite goes to the garlic shrimp. Perfectly cooked, with a charred balance of bitter, sweet, and spicy. Maybe on the over-priced side, but the rest was so affordable I can get over it.
