Sapori Di Napoli

So I was starving carving pizza it was the closest restaurant with 326 reviews and 4.4. Most reviews talks about the price so i didn’t care as long as with get good pizza . So i placed an order they told me 25 min. I gave them 35 minutes. I arrived and they didn’t make it yet. Mind you the restaurant was empty so its mot like they have pile of orders and they couldn’t get to my order. So the hostess came back telling me 7 mints it will be ready. 7 minutes???!!!! From 25 minutes to 7 minutes. And For real it was ready to pick up in 7 min. Altho i gave them 10 minutes. But guess what??!! The pizza was burn from underneath and not cooked from the upper side . I left the pictures. Mind you all of this infront of the owner or manager . I was starving i had to eat a piece i couldn’t go through the second my stomach started to hurt.

Food was amazing and affordable! Very traditional Neapolitan food in a very old school setting. Guido and the staff are super friendly and funny. Like I said, old school italian joint where the quality speaks for itself and very reasonable prices. Guido, we’ll definitely be back regularly. Please don’t go anywhere!

After a long time, I was so disappointed with a restaurant. I will say the good things first - their spicy dipping for the bread was good and my friends mentioned their calamari was good. Their service from the moment we entered was bad. I ordered the penne Gigi with mushrooms only because I am vegetarian. My friend ordered penne Gigi with mushrooms and prosciutto. When they served, they placed our foods incorrectly even after asking us about the order. I had almost 1/4 of my food and then realized and we exchanged. Their pizza was super bad and soggy. On top of it, When we mentioned this to the waiter, he smiled that it's the chefs fault and dint even apologize. I am a vegetarian and I had prosciutto because I trusted you to serve me vegetarian. I atleast deserve an apology. Dint even want to sit there for a minute after that and we left. We dint even try the desserts there.. do you think I will?!

Really great pizza here, the dough is made just the way I like it. I ordered the mushroom and pancetta pizza, and I'm salivating just thinking about it. The appetizers were good, though nothing great. Service was friendly/offensive in the typical Italian sort of way. It's a bit out of the way for downtown dwellers and I wouldn't necessarily say it's worth the drive there, but you certainly won't be disappointed.
