La Panthere Verte

La Panthère Verte was so good that we visited multiple locations during our stay in Montreal. Each location offered consistent, delicious food that reminded us that vegan food does not have to be plain vegetables on a plate. The jackfruit was my favorite and my girlfriend enjoyed the falafel dishes. The restaurant is very clean and everyone seemed to be enjoying their time there. OH, also the carrot cake is amazing. Get it.

Small but very nice welcoming staff, and cosy. You have the option of sandwich or the plate. The Falafel sandwich named: “Falafusion” was GREAT! I don’t understand how a falafel could be so delicious(and green). They have their homemade drinks like lemon-ginger,ice-tea, The decoration is good. Wood-like tables, bar stools, and tables of 2 and 4. It’s in the downtown so easy to go. They also have coffee options, dessert options like biscuit or brownie or Boule d’energie.

The food is good for vegan options. The service is a little slow at lunch time (same date as this review), two people working and the line up was at 8 people waiting to order. Seating is limited to 3 tables outside and around 4 benches in the back of restaurant with maybe 4 seats each or 6 and couple tables at the front so plan your lunch accordingly if you want to eat there. They gave a split unit AC for cooling that is insufficient the air in the resto was stuffy and no circulation of air hence we sat outside. Over all the food quantity is satisfying and on the generous side of serving scale (lettuce did not look good in my meal so will order with no lettuce next time) French sweet potatoes fries looked good but I did not order that so can not tell you how it tasted 😁

I have to admit, I made a trip back to Montreal from New York City just because I kept thinking about the loveliness of La Panthere Verte when I was here last summer. The high vibes, kindest souls working here and the delicious vegan eats are outstanding. I love their bowls that are loaded with colorful nutritious life giving foods. The desserts are also top notch, all made with wholesome ingredients. Prices very fair for the quality and quantity. I will be back!

I love the ambiance of this restaurant! As well I love that they have a "purchase and return" container system. I could eat the falafel balls all day! I only tried 2 things (one of the burgers, which I'll be honest wasn't the greatest burger and the falafels) am I the only one that finds it strange that everything was wrapped in a pita? Even the burger..

Their Traditional Falafel sandwich is our favorite, consistently hot, fresh and delicious! It's to die for! Certainly not the cheapest meal we've had, be prepared to get small portions and at a high price, but all their ingredients are organic. Especially enjoy the compost-friendly concept, well done!

I'm not vegan neither vegetarian but decided to go with my daughter as she slowly started to eat more fruits/vegetables/grains/etc. To be honest I was surprised by the quality and even the taste. Ok it would be tough based on my ow taste for the jackfruit shawarma from the menu to beat the non veg shawarma I had in Dubai. But still really nice fresh and tasty food so pleasantly happy with the experience.
