Burger De Ville A Anjou

So... I consider myself to be a burger connoisseur. I have to say, I went to Burger de Ville on Rue Jarry Est for the first time at this establishment and I had one of the best tasting burgers I have had in years. The patties are like my dad use to make on the Bar-B, you can tell them how you want them grilled, med, med well done, etc... The free toppings are amazing and bountiful, it was like going to your buddies house for a bar-b-q but your buddy is a chef, just wonderful and full of flavor. After our meal, the chef asked us if we wanted to try his sweet potato soup and he gave us two small bowls. It blew us away, we discovered it was the ginger, never would have thought to add ginger to a sweet potato soup but again, it was amazing and acted as a digestive. Lastly, the service, a more friendly and helpful staff you could not ask for. We left smiling and vowed to return real soon. Thank you guys, well done!

Amazing burgers and steak! Honestly is there a better burger joint in the city than this place? Inexpensive, especially for the quality you are getting. Most burgers will top out around $7-8, and the portions are big. For most common burgers they're cheaper than the fast food restaurant chains, but much better quality. Quality is also way above some of the "trendy" hamburger restaurants that have opened recently; they are substantially cheaper than them. Had a 12oz steak (New York strip) with a side for $18.95 (pic below) ; very inexpensive for the quality of the steak they make, and it's fresh (due to this the price is variable).

This place holds my heart when it comes to burgers. I go here minimum once a month and always order the Cantina burger which includes mozzarella, pancetta, lots of garlic and pure magic. You'll be burping garlic all day after this but it's so worth it. Definitely order the spicy fries with spicy mayo as well.
