Living in the United States, we ended up purchasing our Schindelhauer Frieda through Allo Velo and having it shipped to us. We just had the pleasure of visiting Allo Velo while in Montreal for the jazz festival and were so impressed with the shop. Justin waited on us and was extremely knowledgable, assisting my wife with the purchases of a lock, Spurcycle bell, and Ortlieb bag for her bike. Allo Velo is a wonderfully curated shop with high quality European city bicycles and accessories. Shops like this are extremely rare in my experience, where the customer service and passion for bicycles are so evident. Wish we had an Allo Velo where we live. Ken and Sally

We showed up without reservations after searching the internet. The service was awesome and we were set up with great bikes. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They offered advice on where to go in Montreal. We had an early flight home and we couldn't return the bikes earlier because of Canada Day and the weekend so they picked the bikes up at our hotel. Highly recommend renting from here. Cool shop too!

I'm so happy to have discovered Allô Vélo. They are really passionate and knowledgeable about all things cycle-related 🚴🏼‍♀️ They have beautiful bike products at their store, including all the accessories you could ever want or need. Not to mention, an awesome coffee shop ☕️ I felt I was given a custom experience and I'm so excited to get out and ride my new bicycle! From helmets, to the right bike lock for city-living, to lighting for safe night time riding and more. All my needs were addressed and met with this team. Not only is it beautiful, but it's really high quality. I can't wait to get out there and ride. I'll be living out my Dutch bicycle dreams this summer. Thank you so much!

I was not a great biker at all but decided to do a triathlon with my friends and was looking for a good quality bike that I could ride in the city as well. The amazing staff at Allo Vélo were so helpful and they gave me great advice. I love my bike which I ride around the city of Montreal…. And I am now signed up for triathlon number 2! I also went back a few times for adjustments or tune ups and they were always as kind and helpful. They really know their stuff and give advice based on one’s unique needs….so rare these days! Also love that they have European-style bikes. And you can drink an amazing latte in their coffee shop area!

Lamar has incredible business ethics. His store made a small mistake and instead of charging me full price they gave me a great discount on a new bike. I am thoroughly impressed with his kindness and desire to do right by me. He had really clear communication too and kept me updated through the process of getting my bike. The bike is my dream bike and it glides like a cloud, I already love it so much. Thank you!!!

I had a great experience trying out a bike I was looking at. The owners and staff were super friendly and knowledgeable about their ebikes and their gritty details. In the end they even partially disassembled a bike for me to fit it into the back of my car! I am incredibly thankful for their assistance. I love riding my muli-st on daily trips to the store, or just about; it is incredibly nimble for a cargo bike.

After unsuccessfully shopping at other stores in the hopes to find a set up that would fit two chihuahuas, I finally got outstanding service here! Not only did they take the time to answer my lengthy questions over google chats in a promptly manner, the in store service was exceptional and I left equipped with a safe and secure set up for my dogs to bike with me. Best bike shop I've had the pleasure of stepping into on the island of Montreal! This place was reccomended to me by a passing cyclist when I mentioned long waiting times at other shops for simple maintenance. Within 2 hours they had my bike fully checked, offered sound advice on personal maintenance and installed a kickstand on my nonstandard RadMission bike. Their shopis well equipped and the coffee they serve while you wait for repairs is delicious. I highly reccomend anyone who needs work done on their bike or is looking for bike parts/accessories come to this shop, the speed and quality of service is unmatched!
