Le Cafe Arabe

I have organised my mom's 65th there yesterday. Reason why i chose that place is that i went there a couple of years ago with my mom, and we absolutely loved their food. Organising the event with the help of the owner was super easy, we had great service, amazing food and it felt like we were at home sitting on their comfortable morrocan furniture, the belly dancers and the over all good environment amongst all the clients. Everyone who was . there was having fun and people were all dancing together. And the price is unbeatable for the amount and quality of the food. We're already planning more gatherings there and I highly recommended to anyone who has a big group and wants an easy fun and tasty option.

We absolutely loved the belly dance performances! From a five year old girl who was seeing this for the first time all the to my dad (we were a group of eight on a Saturday night). The food was really good (specially the lamb), price was decent and location was at the heart of old port. Staff was hard working and friendly but in their own way, also an extra set of hands would have helped with the service. Don't go there expecting a polished customer service, go there with an open mind to enjoy the experience. The restaurant is at a level two basement and the kitchen is I think one or two levels up. This plus the under staffed service personnel caused the hosts to disappear from time to time.
