Fuji Teppanyaki

A great night out with the family in a local area in the heart of Moonee Ponds. The staff are amazing from Raymond, Lulu and Fiona to our funny and entertaining chef Jimmy who made us laugh and ensured the kids were entertained. We opted for set c which was so much food and the quality of each produce was fresh and seasoned well. Highly recommend to take your family out and support something local.

Great atmosphere and the experience entertaining. But the food was scarce and overwhelmingly tasted of salt. I can still feel the coating in my mouth 5 hours later. The food, although cooked to your choice (steak) was all similar in taste, whether it was beef, chicken or seafood, and did I mention the small portions? The food seemed fresh, hard to tell under layers of salt, oil and soy. The other party at our table did not enjoy their food and I imagine they left hungry. The wife passing all food to hubby, with a noticeable "I'm not eating that -yuck" and look of distaste. The chef was entertaining and it's the experience you pay for. So after a hefty price tag of $260 for 3, I won't be returning. But if you had a larger group and a few drinks you'd probably have a fun time. But I'd rather go to a traditional Japanese any day.

Impeccable service, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and the chef made for a very entertaining night. Staff gave us free umbrellas to get to our cars in the pouring rain. Just made our night even greater by going that extra mile for their customers. Very appreciative, will return again.

This restaurant doesn't even deserve a 1 start rating Dined at this establishment on Valentines day. It was the first time myself and my partner had experienced Teppanyaki and we were very excited. I called in advance to inform the hostess that we were running late for our 8:00pm booking. Upon entering the restaurant we were seated at a teppanyaki table by ourselves. There were 8 spots free at our table. We ordered our set menu and were absolutely appalled at the little or no atmosphere that was displayed both by our chef and the service. The small servings of food were adequate but were ruined by the overall vibe and lack of care of our chef and waiters. The atmosphere around our table was amazing with the other chefs doing cooking challenges and shows incorporating the food. It made myself and my partner feel quite out of place as there was clearly no effort being made. I would have thought when I called and said I was going to be late that I would be informed that you would be seated alone and I wouldn't have come and rebooked for another time. I did bring this to what I assumed to be the owners attention on my way out of the restaurant, to which he explained that three other couples had cancelled and it was just unfortunate. It was the worst dining experience I have had to this date and will not be recommending this Restaurant into the future.
