Really love the food here! The quality is pretty good, and the portions are very decent for the price point! They’re always super busy, and they have a nice outdoor seating area which is great in the summer!
We got The Bay fried pack which was really yummy and good size for sharing. The flake was super crispy and fresh. Added on an extra fried blue grenadier which was just as good! Their potato cakes are yummy too, worth a try!
A highlight for me was the Salt n Pepper Fried Calamari - a must order! It comes with a sweet chilli mayo which tastes a lot better than the aioli in my opinion. Definitely add some sweet potato chips on the side - they’re so good, even better than regular chips!
We also got the grilled seafood & salad (we chose coleslaw) and whilst it had good flavour, I think I prefer the fried food here. Would give the coleslaw a miss!

Great for fresh grilled seafood.
Most sets come with fries or rice and salad but I asked to swap the fries or rice with more salad, which the waitress happily obliged. Perfect service 👍

Food is delicious. When delivered the fish and chips were cold and soggy. Hunky Dory please put the food in an aluminium foil before the cardboard box atleast in winter.

Really friendly and welcoming service from the staff here when dining in. We had a fried and grilled pack and both were well presented and tasted fresh and not too greasy.

They offer a variety of Fish and seafood served with a broad range of Salads, Rice's and of Course freshly fried Chips.
The service is very friendly and fast.

I ordered two takeaway grill packs. I was disappointed in the quality compared to other Hunky Dory restaurants I've been to. The chips were soggy, there was no dressing on the salad and the fish was just okay. The serving size was less generous as well.

Fish and chips are very good (I tried grilled fish). Chips are hot and crispy. Good portion of coleslaw as wel. Worth a try.

Best fish and chips around. Plenty of choices available. Food came out hot and fresh. Not oily at all. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great place to get lunch with the kids! Great value for money.
