D. F. Tamales

Muy buenos dias les regalara 5 estrellas pero 1ra. no dan recivo en depositos para ordenes de tamales 2nda. No tenian cambio y me dijo que me debian a la otra .42 centavos.. no pues asi no estamos para regalar el cambio. Aparte que en la web page dice abrimos a las 7 en realidad abren a las 8 y alegenle a la seňora que abrio la puerta.. I would give 5 stars but 1rst no receipt when you deposit on tamales ahead of time. 2nd they wanted to keep my change of .42 cents because they didn't have any change ( but if the shoe were in the other foot I would not get my food) On their webpage opens at 7, but in reality they open at 8 try to win this battle with the grouch that opened the door.. Was really craving some tamales this morning So I found this place and decided to give them a shot. I called ahead to make sure they had some and sure enough they did ! I ordered 6 de Puerco and 6 de pollo and they were bomb af. It's important to note that this place is cash only so keep that in mind when you stop in. The tamales themselves were full of flavor and moist. I'm pretty hesitant when it comes to buying tamales from restaurants because at times they can be dry and lack in flavor but was not the case for D.F. It was super easy to call ahead and place an order though probably not necessary. Due to Covid they don't have any seating but it was totally fine. The service was great and the cashier was extremely polite. I will definitely be back and will consider ordering some for Christmas !

What ever you Do do not get the birria here if you know about meat you know goat meat has to be cooked a certain way and you have to take out certain parts so that it doesn't reek lol really not hating on the restaurant some things are okay just not up to my standard if you want birria head over to the taco truck over near the old215 and allesandro near the liquor and tire place that place has 🔥 birria
