Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

So wanted to treat my son to a special treat for the weekend. Ordered him a bacon cheeseburger meal deal through the dairy Queen app. Go to the drive-thru at my Boise Avenue location dairy Queen and tell them that we have a mobile order to pick up and the kid that I was speaking with informed me that there was a problem with my order and they did not have any hamburgers. And they also had no idea how to refund my money through the app. Okay fine. Surely they could have called me my phone number was in the app, but they didn't it's all good. I get it they're busy. But instead of just swapping out the sandwiches, my son ended up with a chicken sandwich instead of his bacon cheeseburger which is fine, I was quoted a total of $14 and some change which is double what I paid on the app. I told the kid I'm not paying again because I paid in the app. He says hold on a minute, then tells me to proceed to the window and it would be the same price they'll just swap it out blah blah blah. Get to the window and again I'm quoted this total of $14. I almost lost it. I will not be back to this location. It seems to me that if a restaurant is out of a product they should log into their app and update their menu, or call the customer and inform them of this.

Got the six-piece Chicken strip basket. The food was cold and the cups of gravy were watery as if there wasn't enough so they added water to stretch it out. Very bad. And on top of that the girl who took my order left her mic on and was yelling at a coworker using the "f" word multiple times. I won't be going back. At least not to this Dairy Queen.

We went to this DQ on our way home from a picnic, Mrs. wanted ice cream.. but didn't want to get out of the car because the babies were napping. So we order, after a lady in front. Overheard her saying at the window that she didn't want her burger microwaved. Guys just said something along the lines of "I'm very sorry, that's what we do to .. (something I couldn't understand)." Anyways, I noticed she only ordered 1 meal, but we waited behind her for well over 10 minutes. She seemed very upset as she drove away. My Oreo Blizzard was packing on the Oreos.. Not a big fan of DQ anyways. Paying for convenience, is all.
