The Bandra Project Pizza Express

Always a treat. Been here post reopening after COVID-19 and it's really different but the food tastes the same. That's a good thing always. The menu is limited only to pizzas and a few pasta dishes but they're as good as before, not better but just about right. Can't wait for the rest of the menu to be made available. Do get your reservation in order due to the limited seating. And last seating is at 2100 hrs now.

Great ambiance, live retro music, courteous staff, wonderful outing. Had a Super Sun mocktail,pretty average nothing great, combination of pineapple and watermelon. Calabrese veg pizza was excellent with thin crust base, tomato sauce on the base, jalapenos, olives and kale, perfectly spiced and cheesed. Shroom story a mushroom, avocado and kale based cold salad was interesting. Captain Yogesh was helpful in choosing the right menu.

Creative and cool interior, very large space, good service. Food is great! We went for the classic with the Formaggi pizza, which was good. The Romano Margherita with Bufala pizza, is excellent. The Formaggi was in comparison to this was boring. The service charge at 10% is steep, for a pizza restaurant. The staff do tend to hover and chat. That maybe appealing to some customers. We found this a little intrusive. Overall a pleasant experience, albeit pricey.

Christmas is one of the best time of the year and what better then having an entire Christmas menu to choose from. The Bandra Project has a special Christmas menu curated by chef Vicky which is healthy and also delicious. I loved everything I tried. Sweet potato salad and the falafel salad - both the salads were fresh and delicious. However the blue cheese was missing from my sweet potato salad. Mushroom Mac and Cheese, Spinach Penne, Truffle Mushroom Flatbread.... Loved these three. Flavorful and delicious. Risotto was decent. Could have been a little better in terms of flavor. Loved the Christmas cake and the banoffee cake. Overall the food was good.

The Bandra Project by Pizza Express isn’t your average chain. It's a true tribute to Bandra itself. It infuses and tweaks many dishes with East Indian influences (to celebrate Bandra’s prominent community). The elegant look of the restaurant with the use of concrete slabs, marble tables, brass accents, and cane furniture. Almost everything we ate was made with fresh, appetising ingredients, but almost nothing comes together perfectly then the ‘Bosco’ salad. The scrumptious pizzas at The Bandra Project were what we loved the most The Classic Margherita Pizza and Giardineria were two pizzas we had out of the many pizzas at this restaurant. It’s worth making room for their fluffy vanilla cheesecake that’s light in texture, creamy and flavoursome.

The seating here is lovely, with beautiful interiors. They even have a see-through kitchen and a great staff to guide you according to your taste. The cocktails are impressive and different from the usual classics, and the platter + hummus full of great flavours. Lastly, the pizza is no doubt one of the best to find in the city, with emphasis on how well they prepare a thin crust (romana) pizza. Coriander Pesto Chicken Pizza, Tandoori Murg Pizza and Formaggi 65 Pizza are some of the dishes you should try. Parking is available and the eatery is easy to locate.

We visited this place for dinner on Sunday it was quite crowded, but the ambience was pleasant and the decor is superb. The music is good. Perfect place to spend with family and friends over drinks and pizza. The staff were amiable and service was good. Ambience - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 4/5 We ordered Chicken wings with BBQ sauce, it was nice sweet spicy succulent it was served with blue cheese dip. Prawn Alla Penne pasta, served with big prawns the pepper-walnut sauce was delish. Penne Pollo Picante was spicy and creamy and with small cherry tomatoes, it was flavoursome. Pollo Froza, the pizza had a nice crust was cheesy and yum was to nice grilled chicken which was so heavenly. Drinks Paloma, one of our favourites, Sula Riesling and Baileys Irish cream. For the mocktail, Super Sun which was very refreshing. In all this place is worth visiting to try the different pizzas and desserts.

So recommended by a friend since I am all new in Mumbai we went to this place, and it was a senior who treated us there ❤️ just some perks of being a junior. It's a very pretty place the seating the ambiance the hospitality and the music is good, it's all kind of nice music with nice crowd. So we ate the Pandana pizza which was great the thin crust goat cheese caramalized onions ooo everything was just awesome❤️ Moving to the dessert we ordered the coconut cake which was okay, the dark chocolate over it was to die for but over all cake was okayish along with it we also had cheesecake oh my God that cake was to die for and yet gain gave me a food orgasm ❤️🙈 the vanilla gelato served with it was amazing and the cheesecake was just heavenly 🤩 The staff is very friendly and they will suggest you things, they may also try to over sell but that is fine. It's a little expensive but idk I will pay once in a while to visit such a bomb place ❤️
