Monkey Bar

An apt place for an evening out with friends. Their food is yummy, an interesting fusion of desi - videshi. I loved their Laalmaas in phulka tortilla & Pork spare ribs. The chapli kabab & idli stuffed with boiled egg was ok. I have never gone in their enclosed seating area as I always ask for a table in the open air seating area which has a smoking section. I like the ambience, good music not too loud, good food, good booze, and nice service. Overall a satisfying experience.

I had the pleasure of visiting Monkey Bar for dinner yesterday. Their seating options include both indoor and outdoor areas. I was pleasantly surprised by the super quick service – all the items we ordered arrived promptly at our table. The drinks and food were truly delightful. Among our orders were a selection of drinks, a pizza, chicken bao, and berry pulao. To conclude our meal, we treated ourselves to a refreshing chilled cold coffee. I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed every dish we tried, and the experience left a positive impression.

Blink and you will miss it. A lovely set up with dim lighting to set the evening mood. A range of drinks but I was there for the food :). The food menu is that of Fatty Baos. Excellent and well prepared is the first thing that comes to mind. Three starters were very filling for two individuals. We had ordered the Prawn Momos, at first I felt they were small but on my first dig into the mono it was a burst of flavour, accompanied by the aroma of the steamed momos when the bamboo container was opened. Delish!! The fried calamari rings with a dash of lemon and served with a mix of birds eye chillis and coriander would never go wrong. It needed nothing more to accompany the flavour. Best of all the rings were not at all chewy!! Excellent !! My third and final dish was what I was really here for, the Chicken Baos. The bread was warm and soft with the freshness in its aroma. The chicken was sweet and tender. The garnishing was cool and flavourful. The culmination of all this put a smile on my face with every bite. Really kept the best for last!

Great ambience, good food and service. Some dishes on the menu were not available when I visited the place. Best to keep a backup ready when ordering. I tried - Minced vegetables and water chestnut dimsums - 4/5 - vegetables were a bit too raw for me. Homemade ginger beer - 5/5 - must try!! Ask for the drink chilled but without ice. Chori pao 4/5. I found the pork a little salty, but is of good quality. The accompanying raw mango-mustard Chutney is to die for. Great for an evening drink and bite any day of the week.

Monkey Bar, This place has been standing strong for quite a good time and does pack a punch when it comes to food and drinks. Also, the ambiance is very relevant and has the perfect dim light vibe to it. It has ample space, especially the outer section. The food is entirely dedicated to multiple cuisines such as North Indian and continental but their seafood dishes are not to be missed at any cost. They are a delight, trust me. Also, their COCKTAILS are very fancy and interesting. Totally loved "Tomesh Collins & Imli Sour" Recommended for Gin and Whiskey lovers, respectively. Well executed. In the food section, we had a couple of dishes and loved every bit of it. "The Pork Lovers Pizza" was the best in the range. Well cooked with a good amount of bacon toppings on it. Also thin-crusted and a good 10 inches. "Meen Pollichathu" a recommended dish if you are a seafood lover. It's made in a South Indian prep and is Kerala Toddy shop inspired masala fish served with lemon and coriander potato. Also, it's steamed in a banana leaf and it's kinda fun to wrap it ourselves. Also, the quantity was fabulous since the fish chunk was quite huge. The mains was the fun part since for a dazzling place like this expecting a thali was out of the question until we spotted "Meen & Curry". A wholesome thali where they give like 2 decent deep-fried sardine fishes along with Meen kolumbu (fish gravy) and ghee rice. Beans and carrot poriyal is also served along. The appalam which comes with is quite the best thing to munch during the meal. The entire thing can be easily had by 2 people. "Masala Chai Elton Mess" It's indeed a beautiful mess and the best way to end the meal. I was not expecting much in the desserts but the staff recommended us to try this out. So well presented. The berry chili compote with meringue shards and chianti cream topped with masala chai dust,ohh just too sinful. Absolutely a treat for tastebuds. A great place to chill out over a drink or so, but most importantly great food and great cocktails. Also a fantastic service.

An amazing place to visit on Bandra , went there for breakfast on weekend with friend . The ambiance is classy and looks very attractive ,good decorative and painting on the walls . I ordered these delicious stuffs which are as follows:- Skinned strawberry milkshake - was tasty and chilled🤩🥰 Banana milkshake- was too tasty loved it😋😍 Omelette xacuti curry - was well cooked and tasty was amazing loved the presentation 🤘🤘 Egg in a blanket - was very filling and was the best dish to try here😋 really enjoyed it 😉😎 To brie or not to brie - a French style egg omelette served with sandwich breads and butter 🥰😍 was very tasty 😍🥰 For desserts:♥️ Dark chocolate pancakes - presentation was very beautiful and taste was average 😋 Overall an amazing experience at this Amazing place called monkey bar in Bandra. Good place to hangout with friends and family and have a good time here 😎😎

This place is present at Linking road, Bandra, so a convenient location for all those who want to dine out after shopping. The staff is pretty welcoming and they have good knowledge of the dishes and drinks they serve. Their dress code is quite cool too. Black T-shirt's with designed pockets of different colors. The ambience is quite great. There are two sitting arrangement, one inside in AC and one outside, breathing the natural air. The lighting conditions are perfect and quite relaxing, with good songs playing throughout. The place might seem expensive. The drinks here are quite attractive, with MOBAR specials serving a variety of drinks with new and different combinations. The food here is okayish, not that great. We had the following items 1) Chicken Tikka pizza- Could have been more filling with more chicken and suace over the base. The base was very good, it was soft and at the same time sturdy. 2) Butter chicken kulcha - The kulcha was quite thick but the quality was good, it was stuffed with chicken and the butter chicken sauce provided with it was just awesome. 3) Unauthentic poutine- Fries topped of with mushroom sauce, chillies, caramelised onions, peppers. 4) Masala Chai Eton Mess - The dessert looks exquisite, the plating is superb, looks extremely beautiful and sereine. The meringue shards were delicately placed with help of each other's support, beneath which there was chianti cream, on either sides Decorated with raspberries, berry chilli compote and pistachios, and masala chai dust sprinkled over the shards. Drinks- 1) Juicy Martini -9/10 2) Sip me tender - 8/10 3) Tomesh Collins -8/10 4) Mobar mace - 7/10 Overall a good place for an outing with friends .
