Total feel of Mumbai in the place. You’ll find some great food and amazing ambience. The food actually left us happy. Good quality of food and fresh feel. We tried: Cranberry Mojito and Pineapple Caipiroska: very very refreshing! Great flavour and chilled. Loved it the most. Thepla tacos with paneer: spicy and delicious. Good blend of Mexican with Indian. Definitely a must try Spinach cheese ball: good taste. Not extra ordinary but will satisfy your taste buds House veggies: loaded with veggies, crispy and tasty. Mexican pani puri: spicy with amazing taste of jalapeños. Veg Paprika: this is our another favourite. Properly flavoured rice with creamy spicy sauce. Chocolate martini: it’s like having melted ice cream. Super yummy

During our visit to Borivali this time we decided to enjoy a dinner at Hungry JD which we have heard a lot about . The place has very Aamchi Mumbai feel where there is AC seating in a local train kind of Ambience . However we loved the open space downstairs which has good seating and lighting as well . Mosquitoes may hinder your good time here so request for a repelant coil straight away below your table . Let's take you on a ride of what all we savored out here. Starters : Pani Puri : We tried their two variants ie Classic and Mexican . Classic was better however the Mexican touch was also a delightful one . Mini Masala Papad: Best starter and a must try for all you people fond of Masala Papad . Papas A La Saif: That's the house Speciality . Basically Crisp potato discs topped with their special creamy Sauce . Loved the Delicacy . Spring Roll: Favorite Chinese dish of ours. The stuffing of their spring Roll is very fresh and has a perfect balance of all the ingredients . Aloo Phal Chaat : This luscious chaat which has combination of Aloo , onions , along with Pomegranate and Pineapple along with tangy and spicy Chatni and finally topped with Corrainder with mint leaves . Do try this delightful Chaat delicacy of the house Mocktails : Tulsijito: Indeed a very refreshing drink and went well with those Starters . Crabeery Mojito: A tangy Luscious Drink with burst of Flavours in every sip . Mains : House veggie pizza: Very ordinary . On the menu it looks very promising but turned out to be a disappointment and it definitely needs a touch up by their chef . Manchurian fried rice : These were yummy and exactly the way it got to be . The juicy Manchurian balls were super tasty and fresh. Chocolate Martini : A cool dessert to end a great meal . Sweet and creamy endeavour after all . Overall a lovely experience and can't wait enough to visit this place soon again . Thanks for reading our detailed review .

Overall a good place on link road, Mumbai themed with good decor . We were sitting in the open and the staff was kind enough to let my pug inside with us as he is pretty quiet and does not disturb any 1. Pav Bhaji fondue was good. The drinks were good. Some other stuff we ordered was OK ok. It's a good place to sit and chill. Overall I felt it was a bit over priced.

The place is little bit far from borivali station but it has really a good ambiance. It's like a 2floor building which is made as such as Mumbai local train and it looks quite amazing. Ambiance is good. And when we take a look at restaurant menu, it's like all the Mumbai junk food with a different twist of taste. I tried Cream of broccoli soup, Bangkok style veg crispy, Maharaja pizza, Veg paprika, Desi nachos. And it was good in taste.

Mumbais lifeline is its local train. This is what Hungry J D s interiors are based upon. This place gave me positive vibes when I entered. It has non ac open seating on the ground floor with counters on one end , one side train and station is seen on the opposite wall station names are written, and ac seating on first floor which are interiored like local train coaches. While climbing stairs you can come across quirky frames... Mocktails Pineapple caprioska It is combination of muddled lime and mint, pineapple, crushed ice topped with pineapple juice.. it was thirst quenching. Cranberry mojito It is medley of muddled lime and mint, crushed ice topped with cranberry juice. This was favourite out of all mocktails. I just love mojitos... House special kala khata It was nice mocktail with flavour of kala khatta..i just love kala khatta flavour Jalapenos and coriander margarita Jalapenos, coriander, sour mix and kosher salt Virgin pinacolada It is a mocktail drink made with fresh pineapple juice and coconut milk with ice cubes.it is very refreshing mocktail. Chat Sriracha pani puri Pani puri filled with sriracha spiced american corn and potato mixture served with sriracha. It was so spicy... this is highly recommended for spicy lovers Aloo phal chat Potato cubes, chickpeas, pomegranate seeds, onion , green chillies, pineapple, mixed with lemon juice, mint chutney, fresh coriander , mint, chat masala, cumin powder, garam masala, red chilli powder garnished with sev. It is served in wine glass. It was quite different... Starters Cheese potato lollypop It is potato cheese balls mixed with shallot , garlic powder, black pepper, parmesan cheese , crumb fried served with spicy harissa mayo. It was very yummy and cheesy. This one is for cheese lovers. Papas a la saif Fried potato disc covered with yellow pepper cheese sauce garnished with black olives.. This is named after chef saif who invented it. It is a must try... Desi nachos Crispy spinach flavoured green nachos topped with cheese sauce and spicu chat of cubed potatoes, tomato, green pepper, onion, kidney beans and jalapenos mixed with tamarind chutney, salsa, black pepper, mint and coriander. This was very different version of nachos i had ever Bangkok style veg crispy This is similar to veg crispy... it was just perfect taste and flavour. Bombaiya cheese burst vada pav Bombay food is in complete without vada pav. So hungry j d bring this traditional dish with a twist of cheese. It is damn yummy . Do try it out. Main course Chipotle pesto pizza It is a medley of chipotle pesto sauce, mushrooms, roasted garlic, tomatoes, onion , feta and mozzarella cheese. It was yummy and very thin crust. Do try it out.. Cappuccino pav bhaji served with herb coins Pav bhaji served in a glass with froth of cheese and spices with fragrance of coffee served with bread coins topped with herbs Veg paprika Assorted veggies tossed in creamy paprika sauce served with bellpepper rice & mashed potato. It was nice medley of spices... loved every bite of it... Dawood basha It is vegetarian version of the popular Syrian meatballs dish. Cottage cheese spinach and potato balls mixed with parsley, black pepper, cooked in tomato sauce & spiced woth Baharat (middle Eastern spicemix) accompanied with parsley rice. Paneer kulchan Paneer kulchan shorba served with assorted Indian bread (almost all types) Choclate martini It is a medley of Chocolate sauce ,vanila ice cream and whipped cream garnished with chocolate cravings and M&Ms. It is so delicious. I highly recommend try this...
