Junkyard Café, is all known for its great finish to the interiors, making the space a decent and comfortable one to make justice to the title of this restaurant. Well the seats here are made up of drums and the outdoor seating is a great one too. The music here is groovy and soothing complemented by the cordial gestures of the staff, making this place to fall on your list of one to visit in Mumbai. Getting to food and drinks Edison Bulb Junkyard café have some unique names on their list, like this one – ‘Edison Bulb’ is available in three different options and the wild fusion of this drink definitely gives you a strong punch of all the mixes. Skeleton Another cocktail with numerous options available on the list for you. With dark rum, dry fruits accompanied with a fizz of soda or cola. Red Hat White rum and Watermelon juice maintaining the light texture of this drink with fresh mint and lime juice giving a balance of flavours. Palak Patta Chaat The Original classic from the streets of Delhi recreated right and well at Junkyard Café, with spinach sheets marinated in a smooth and thick batter and a topping of various chutneys adding to the look and taste of this starter. Platters Veg Platter Non Veg Platter Dimsums Chicken Kothe Dimsum Chicken pot stickers steamed and seared in a pan, warm, smooth and absolutely good. Vegetables Hargao Dimsum A mix of fresh and healthy vegetables, with it’s goodness locked and steamed. Spicy Pepperoni Pizza The classic Pork Peperoni slices enhancing the look and taste of this cheesy delight along with Jalapenos. Walnut epic brownie Chocolate brownie topped with a giant scoop of ice cream…. Absolutely good.

Brilliant location, artistic 'garage junk' theme & interiors & decor elements, soothing music with karaoke nights, nicely priced alcohol with a vast food menu(indian, Mexican, continental & what not). The only negative is the food ain't greatly tasty, moreover it is priced too high for us to believe it. Good for couples & groups. Friendly staff.

As the name suggests, the place has been made to look like a junkyard but a beautifully crafted one! It is more of a bar than a café, with outdoor section and inside seating where there is live sports screening and some peppy music to dance on. We had the Nachos Overload and Cheese Garlic Bread. The Nacho chips tasted very much like the packaged ones we get outside and hence I didn't like it that much. Cheese Garlic Bread was good but couldn't identify with the garlic. For drinks, we had the Edison Bulb with vodka, watermelon and basil and the Floral Salvage that has fluid hibiscus, ginger ale and vodka topped with lemonade. The popular Edison Bulb bad an upper hand among the two. They do not take Service Charge which is another thing I like here. On another occasion we went here, the inner section was reserved for a private party so I guess one could make reservations for such occasions. Do visit if you are in Bandra.
