Location: dadar West Landmark: near shivaji park Serves Thai cuisine. The ambience is good. The dishes on the menu have Thai names with the necessary explanation in English. We tried the green mushroom curry and Thai basil rice. The staff was courteous enough to alter the menu for us. Good place for couples and groups..pretty quiet. Could b a little expensive on the pocket. Dishes available in yellow green and red curries...red being the most spicy. They also offer drinks including cocktails. The basil mint martini was very refreshing. If u like to indulge in Thai food u can give it a try..fairly decent place.

If you need to have a candle lit dinner with your loved one, nice place to be with some good food and exquisite drinks. However of you go with friends this would feel a bit awkward. There are some nice liquor, expensive than what the ambience deserves. The food is fresh and well prepared. The pomfret chilly garlic is awesome. Also the several chicken dishes we tried. Worth visit if your budget permits.

Fantastic Thai food with friendly old style service. Updated 10/23 Tamnak remains very Thai. We ordered food with names we could neither pronounce nor understand, but it still worked out wonderfully well. The sliced lamb was juicy and delicious. Crab cakes were scrumptuous. Thick red prawn curry was just the right degree of spicy and went very well with sticky Jasmine rice. Seafood peanut infused noodles were also seafoody and peanuty. The service was excellent. We were never in hot water but were served plenty of it. Would go again for sure.

Tamnak Thai at Shivaji Park, Cadell Road has been that one Thai restaurant in Mumbai that has been around since ages. After a long long gap, we visited this place on a Monday evening for dinner. You immediately get transported to a different era of restaurants. With white table covers, wooden chairs and that musty fragrance in the restaurant suggesting that it's seen a few winters. While I liked that they have maintained the restaurant extremely well, it can do with a slight makeover. Coming to the food, we tried chicken green curry and vegetarian red curry. The food was quite good. One of the better Thai joints that I have come across in Mumbai. While the green curry was simply delicious, I found the red curry was missing something. Everything was there, but the X factor for which I usually order red curry. The staff was courteous but the food felt a little on the expensive side. Good place to visit if you are in a mood for Thai.
