Poush is a Kashmiri themed restaurant. With shikara boat seating, this place gives u a perfect romantic feel. Soft santoor music is played in the restaurant which gives a calm feeling. The service is quick but the staff is very rude. The food is great. They have a wide variety of Kashmiri cuisine. We tried the veg and the non veg Thali which was a limited Thali and each Thali was sufficient for a single person. The food was not at all spicy or oily. It had perfect taste. I loved it. I was also very filling and sufficient for a single person. For desserts we had phirni and Gulab jamun. Which was also very delicious. And tasty. After the meal they served us kahwa, a Kashmiri Tea which was a perfect way to complete the meal. Overall I loved the experience. Highly recommended if u wanna Experience Kashmir in Mumbai!

Kashmiri thali in aamchi mumbai! Superb authentic taste! Not all may like it, but you need to develop the taste! Serves both veg and non-veg thalis, kashmiri desserts and special Kahwah tea which has a saffron flavour! Taste is superb! The ambience is cool, they have made small shikaras like in kashmir and you really get the north kashmiri feel! The staff was very courteous and the owner too was very cooperative! Must try for a different experience altogether!

"Romantic place with awesome food" If you are romantic person plus food lover dont think much, close your eyes and visit this place, once you reach and entered inside you feel that you are in perfect Kashmiri restaurant. Nice soft healing music and eye pleasant sitting arrangement take you to another world, definately your soulmate will be happy once you reach there, the variety of food with kashmiri essense added further surprise to you. Taste is awesome of veg as well as non veg food. You can go for thali or A la karte depends upon your choice, all are good in taste, after dinner you'll get nice yummy sweet dish and at the end kashmiri chai. Poush restaurant is located exactly opposite of movie time theatre in evershine nagar, link road malad west which is easy to find. Its perfect romantic place with nice sitting arrangement only if they added more colour on sitting decoration it will look more pleasant rest all ok.

I tried "Daiyy Bhatt Thal" (Vegetarian 4-course meal) which includes - Snack: Nadier Palak Tikki - It is a traditional Lotus Stem and Spinach Tikki served along with mint chutney Nadier Monje - It is a deep-fried lotus stem fritters that are very crunchy and light. Curries: Dum Aloo - The Kashmiri style dum aloo is nutty in flavor potato curry. Ruwangan Chaaman - It is a paneer recipe made with a rich tomato and milk-based gravy flavored with fennel powder Nadier Palak - It is a spinach and lotus stem curry. It is mildly spicy and yet very flavorful. Rajma - Rajma is a curry made with tomato puree and kidney beans. Accompaniments - Raita Roti, Plain Rice, Sweet Dish: Phirni - Kashmiri Phirni is made with Semolina and flavored with saffron. It is a light and creamy dessert that is a great way to finish the meal. You can also choose Gulab Jamun instead of Phirni. Kahwah (Hot/Cold) - It is a Kashmiri tea flavored with cardamom and infused with cloves, cinnamon, and saffron. Summarizing, not just their ambiance, the food & service is also top-notch. So the next time when you are in a mood for a romantic meal, mark this on the top of your list.

When it's comes to Kashmir, romantic and beautiful views always comes in mind. It's called heaven on earth and it is rightly said in many ways considering its breathtaking beauty and food.Today I had been to Poush which has given me the real fragrance of Kashmir.The ambiance is such breathtaking with wonderful sitting area including the shikara.The beautiful cabins are awesome if you are going with your partner.The food is just finger licking.We had ordered Maharaja thali which includes varieties of dishes including rajma,rice,palak sabzi,rogan Josh,raita,white chicken and goshtaba,with wonderful Phirini and gulab jamun and to finish with Kawah.We had an awesome experience. so if someone is planning for a cosy dinner with partner ,this is just a perfect place to sit and chill.For food and ambiance I will give 10/10.

Poush- the essence of Kashmir is located at Evershine nagar Malad west. The place is Located amongst various other eating joints, but the theme and decor of Poush takes you back to the beautiful dal lake and the shikaras there. Infact you get to eat in a shikara. The beautiful ambience, the mild music of Santoor playing in the background and if you have right company sets mood for a beautiful evening and perfect date. Started off with the traditional Kashmiri Kawa which is a tea made from spices to set the appetite. I ordered for the Maharaz Thali consisting of Seekh kabab, Mutton Rogan josh, Kokur Yakini, Nadier Palak, Rajma, Raita, Roti. For desert had Phirni and Gulab jamun. All in all good value for time, money and energy. I definitely vouch for this place.

The place is for people who love kashmiri cuisine. For others it would be a new experience. New ambiance to sit in shikaar style or in setting where you need to sit on sofa. Relaxed service a bit slow ..go when you have time in hand ..more importantly with a huge appetite. The thali is extremely huge portions ..they do serve alacarte too.

Both the Thalis consist of a FOUR course meal which serves on person.I specially liked the Non-Vegetarians Thaali which consisted of- ◾1)Rogan Josh ◾2)Rajma ◾3)Seekh Kebab ◾4)Raita ◾5)Naider Palak ◾6)Kokur Yakhini All the above mentioned dishes where prepared in Kashmiro Style.The Non-Vegetarian Thaali was extremely delicious and I loved it. Along with it we had Kashmiri Drink called Kawah which was Sweet and Spicy at the same time.It also had chopped almonds in the drink which was served hot to us. In Dessert we had Gulab Jamun and Phirni.Gulab Jamun was the best Gulab Jamun I ever had in my Life.It was serves hot and it was so soft that it easily melted in my mouth.Phirni was also tasty and its texture was good. We had a Romantic one day visit to Kashmir. It was Kashmiri food in Kashmiri Ambience. It made us feel as if we were in Kashmir. Located in Malad West. This Restaurant is really very Romantic place. Ambience gives a feeling of being in Kashmir. They Actually have a Shikara inside the Restaurant, which gives a Romantic Kashmiri atmosphere feeling. Staff is very friendly. We were fortunate to meet the owner as well, she is a very decent lady, her hospitality is very good. The place is very clean and tidy. The best option to try many dishes was to order a Kashmiri Thali. We had Mutton, Chicken and desserts. We also tried Rajma. They also served a Vegetable dish in the thali. All was typical Kashmiri style food. Food quality is good and hygienic. We Enjoyed the food very much. We enjoyed the Kashmiri Kahwa sitting in the Shikara. They serve it Hot and Chilled both. If you want to have a short trip to Kashmir, then this is where you need to go. You will have it all, Kashmiri Food, Romantic Kashmiri atmosphere and the Shikara ride.

Poush Poush is a beautiful restaurant serving Kashmiri cuisines located in Malad west. They have beautiful interiors & would be a perfect place to have a romantic dinner with your partner. They have this beautiful sitting arrangement where you can have your personal space in a cabin with curtains. They also have a Shikara wherein you can have your meal. The staff is quick & well managed. What we had: 1) Non Veg Thal It contained Rice, Tandoori roti, Rajma, kokur Yakhini, Nadier Palakh, Rogun Josh, Mutton Seekh Kebab & raita. Kashmir Being a huge meat consuming state, the meat dishes tasted lovely. 2)Kesar Phirni Kesar phirni was perfectly smooth & sweet. It had rich flavour of kesar enriching its taste. 3)Zari Kahwah This is a typical chai of Kashmiri people. It has rich flovours of elaichi & was worth tasting.
