The new thing to try on is ouzi which is new thing in town comes with a bread stuffed with rice and chicken and Mediterranean Masti which is a chicken ball filled with olive and chees . Amazing food with best quality and affordable price . Wil surely visit next time

OMG...Wow..wow..WOW !! MashaAllah..such a refreshing change of taste from the usual masala and oil overloaded food that we are used to having at restaurants. This place serves amazing charcoal-grilled and fresh oven-baked food. I just happened to glance at this place while i was in Colaba,,and being a die-hard foodie,it was obvious for me to stop over and see what AL-SHAWA is all about.. I was told that they serve Grilled Specialities and it was their first day.. I ordered for their speciality dish MUTTON OUZI...and...boy..oh boy...mildly flavored slow-cooked rice with amazingly flavored super-tender pieces of mutton cooked inside freshly baked bread...it just teleported me straight to the Middle East...HABIBI !!! With the kind of start that I had, it was but natural for me to try out some of the other stuff that they were serving... The seating capacity is neat and small, but they have one amazing "DASTARLAWN" seating for a big group...i definitely am coming with my group of friends very soon... You can also call for the food to be delivered to your doorstep. Now, let me list out the things which I have already tried here (quite a long list for a span of just 10-12 days..heheh😉) 1) MTN KHEEMA PAV - i could feel the pure meat mince...lovely ! 2) MTN SEEKH KEBAB - aah...melts in the mouth..smooooth !! 3) MTN BOTI KEBAB - super tender juicy pieces of mutton with the right mix of lip smacking spices and flavors !! 4) CHICKEN PERI PERI - heavenly charcoal-grilled drumsticks...mmmm.. !! 5) MEDITERRANEAN CHICKEN - juicy meatballs with Olive at its heart..wonderful !! 6) ZAATAR CHICKEN - whole chicken marinated and charcoal grilled in Arabic herbs & spices...loved it ! 7) CHICKEN CHEESY DELIGHT - boneless pieces of charcoal grilled chicken stuffed with cottage & parmesan cheese...very nice !! 8) TURKISH NAAN - fresh oven-baked bread with sesame seeds...fell instantly in love with it !!! 9) FISH TIKKA - the best grilled fish I have ever had !!! and last but not the least.. 10) MUTTON OUZI - I fall short of words for this..this is not just food...this is an "EXPERIENCE", please experience it yourself.. 😍 The condiments that they serve along with all their dishes is as good as the main thing !! I was told that they also have some amazing sauces that we could order. If you want quality food made from quality ingredients, and if you want your food to make its way to your belly through your heart, this is the place guys...go for it !!! There's still a lot left to be tried for me, I hope I can cover everything very soon...😎
