Balaji Idli House Mulund

I've visited this hotel on 16 sep 21. It's a small but very comfortable and having lot seating capacity. Interior is good & attractive. My family visited here and we ordered three dishes. Namely: 1) Steam Idali 60 Rs. 2) Madrasi Fried Idali 160 Rs. 3) Balaji Special Uttapam Platter 225 Rs. Which of these I loved steam Idali and Uttapam Platter. Idali was so soft ani smells good. It's little bigger size unlike other restaurants Idalies. Taste is too good. It has authentic taste of Kerala. You'll definitely feel like you're sitting in Kerala restaurant and having their spc Idali. Then Uttapam Platter has 9 to 10 small peaces of different Uttapam cuts. You'll get masala Uttapam, Onion Uttapam, Paneer Cheese 🧀 Uttapam etc. Platter has also good taste. Madrasi Fried Idali was not that good. Frankly I don't like it very much. But Sambhar and White coconut chutney was very tasty. You'll get like unlimited Sambhar ani chutney if you ask. Overall very good experience here. Cost wise it's not too costly. I'll suggest you to have at least try for Steam Idali. You'll definitely love it. Thank you😊

One of the finest place of you are a south Indian food lover. I always enjoyed the authentic south Indian tea here. It is just near the Mulund railway station near Mc Donald. I visited here 2-3 times and always find the food delicious. If you are Visiting with family make sure to book a table in advance as there is too much rush during lunch and breakfast time. The waiting is sometimes higher than 30 minutes.
