Chang & Co

We stumbled upon this restaurant only yesterday when at Phoenix Marketcity Kurla. Its a small quaint place. Good variety on the menu. Since we were very hungry, we skipped the starters and ordered for main course right away. We ordered for one Red thai curry bowl and one Kung pao bowl. Both of them were full of authentic flavors. However, given the amount of rice in the serving I would suggest them to add a little more quantity of curry. I felt it was less, so most of the rice had to be eaten dry. Same with the kung pao bowl. Other than the proportion of curry vs. rice in the bowls, everything else was just perfect.

I was here today for lunch.I ordered the following:- 1.Hot Asian Soup (Chicken)- It was a soup which consisted of multiple vegetables.All cut in juliennes and cooked in broth and finished off by adding sauce.A good option on a rainy day 2.Schezwan Battered Crispy Fish- Fillet of fish batter fried and tossed in chilli sauce.Its a bit spicy but good finish.Bell peppers,beans,chillies are tossed along with it.The best appetizer to start with. 3.Prawn with Chilli & Chive- Cooked prawns chopped fine along with chives and chilli seasoned and stuffed in a fine rolled dough.It is served with chilli oil and fine fried onions in it. 4.Black Pepper Chicken Asian Tacos- Steamed Bun filled with crunchy cucumber,crisp chicken tossed in black pepper,chilli mayo served with homemade Schezwan. 5.Lantern Chilli Prawns- Noodles topped with sauce and prawns.Spring rolls portions kept on top of it.The prawn was really good,it was batter fried and tossed in sauce.Spring rolls had a strong flavour of lemongrass and veggies. 6.Date Pancakes- One of the best dessert I have had till date.Deep fried pancakes triangular shaped where dates were flattened inside.A scoop of ice cream in the centre was kept.So a crisp hot,sweet and cold combination,loved it 7.Thai Iced Coffee- A tangy, bittersweet combination of coffee would say a good summer option. 8.The Maroon Man- Guava juice infused with ginger,lime,pepper and spices.A little different from the guava mocktails served.

A new place in Phoenix Market City, to try Chinese and Thai Food. The place is small but it has a beautiful ambience. Our Food Order was : Veg Hot Asian Soup - The taste was too good, had many veggies in it. Thai Spring Roll - Served with a sweet sauce, the rolls were less oily, and the taste was good. Mushroom & Bell Pepper Taco - Loved the presentation, taste was awesome. Veg Street Style Dimsum - It was okay, could’ve been much better. Loved the presentation. Schezwan Style Spicy Cottage Cheese - Though it says it is spicy, it isn’t. But the taste is too good. Roasted Chilli Garlic Veg Noodles - The quantity is good enough to serve 3 people. The taste is good. Veg Black Bean Chilli Bowl - It was okay, can serve 2 people. Thai Iced Tea - Good. The Maroon Man - the taste gets better after drinking it. Nice 👍🏻 Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream - The brownies are so yummy, and with Vanilla Ice Cream, it just gets better❤️ ——————— Staff & Service - The staff is too friendly, always smiling, which is necessary for any restaurant.
