Pizza King

If you eat in the restaurant it's awesome. But when you call and try and make an order if they answer the phone, it's usually if somebody very rude and a very short with you. I ordered a stromboli and baked spaghetti a large baked spaghetti Sunday night they said it would take 30 to 45 minutes to get to my house after an hour and 15 minutes my daughter called and right in the middle of my daughter saying where's my order what's your address he demanded my daughter told him the address and he goes it just walked out the door and hung up on her. When we got the order my daughter opened up her Stromboli and the top part was black spot in all over it and when you turn it over it was Pitch Black on the entire bottom part of it and it was so oily it was shiny black. When I grab the bag with my spaghetti in it, you could feel the sauce in the bottom of the bag they didn't steal the spaghetti up all the way and it poured out into the bag. So of course we called them and my daughter said I just ordered from you and my order was messed up the guy again was very rude is in what your address will get another sandwich out to you. Hung up on my daughter before she could even say anything about the spaghetti. So I will never do take out with them again.

Another disappointment at this location. Friendly staff...clean store= 2 stars. I've gone here probably 50 times or more in the past year. Why did I keep going despite an issue NEARLY every time, you may wonder? It's because they are very close to my house. This visit... is the END. Firstly, I was told my order would be ready for pickup in "about" 15 minutes. If you've dealt with this location very often, you know it's a lie. According to my phone record, I paid for my order 56 minutes after I ordered it. I waited 15 minutes before I left my house...it's an 8 min drive...and I still managed to wait in the store for about 30 minutes. They look like they are extremely busy, but when you pay attention you notice they are doing anything and everything, but actually preparing food most of that time. I'm just guessing, but I assume the disorganization or lack of clear roles is what contributes to the long waiting times. Secondly, they do not make the pizzas edge to edge. According to responses from managers and people who have answered my feedback in the past, toppings are supposed to be within 1/4 of an inch to the edge. They consistently fail in this area. I have a ruler in my kitchen and I have found the distance to be consistently 4 to 8 times that 1/4" measurement. There are always areas of the pizza that meet the 1/4 inch... but most of the pizza (50-75%) does not. Lastly, and most importantly, the biggest issue is that orders are consistently wrong or missing something. I should know better than to leave the restaurant without looking... but here we go again. I ordered 2 different kinds of pizza to accommodate the family and this visit.... I had 2 pizzas that were identical. Of the 5 people in my home, 3 ate only breadsticks because they do not like royal feast. Sure, the restaurant would have made me the right one... but then the pizza at home would be 30-60 cold by the time I got back home. Sure they would offer a credit, but again that doesn't solve my immediate issue. I called and they did offer, but this is consistently an issue at the 801 W. Memorial location. I did not accept their offer and just let them know that I will no longer go there. It's going to take a loss of business for them to get their act together. FROM NOW ON...YORKTOWN where I've never had these issues. Good bye Memorial... no need to respond... I'm done.

I've ordered their pizza before and didn't have any issues. I ordered a pizza tonight, the same that I always ordered, and when it arrived, it was not what I ordered. On top of that, I had to call MULTIPLE times for them to even pick up the phone. First time I called, I was hung up on. Then, I had to call quite a few times after to get an answer. Won't be ordering from there again.

I picked up an order for a friend. It was ready when I arrived. The cashier was very friendly. I was short a couple of dollars, and the cashier gave me a discount so that I would have enough money, and not have to drive all the way back to my friends to pick the extra money up. I was very grateful for that. However, when I went back to my vehicle, i checked the receipt and noticed that I was missing a 2 liter of coke and an order of cookies. I went back in and the cashier apologized and corrected my order immediately. The food was perfect!!
