Steak 'n Shake

Long line. Curb side or drive through only. No indoor dining. Waited 35 minutes from start to receiving food. Ate in parking lot all of it was cold. My order did sit there for several minutes before handed to me. Can only imagine they are losing money. I spent $13 for half an hour of work with 3 people working. Menu is pretty simple. At this rate we might lose steak n shake 😔

Steak and shake is always a little slow, but in the past they made up for it with good food. Not this time. I pulled in because there was only 1 car ahead of me. After I waited a while I started checking the time. It took them 15 minutes to take her order. It took 37 minutes to get my food. They tried to give It to the car ahead of me but she wanted her own order. She was at the window for a good 10-15 minutes. A car that was behind me just drove away. I had to wait at the window for a few minutes, also even though I knew they had my order ready. When they finally gave it to me, no apologies so I figured this was normal for them. I ordered 2 steak burgers. It took about 3 minutes to get home. The burgers were cold, poorly made, and even though I was really hungry I could only force one down. I wouldn't eat there again if it was free.

So I just ordered: $4 double steak burger with fries The special order part was NO TOMATO on the burger and add a side of cheese. Simple enough? NOPE! NO CHEESE! TOMATO ON MY SANDWICH and why are my fries only HALF FULL??? SO NOT HAPPY WITH SERVICE TODAY!!! THANKS employees who are working right now! (Friday July 24th, 2020 at 8pm)

Super slow service... I think they are understaffed due to the "covid-19" pandemic that never turned into the zombie apocalypse we all wanted. It looks like everyone will have to put up the chainsaws and baseball bats.With the service in their drive-thru you'll definitely want to wait to retire the pitchfork, join a movement, and riot outside the restaurant.

Garlic burger had WAY too much salt. And my girlfriend could not Eat the Chili with no beans. I went through very late. And I've been here many times before and its been very good food. But was VERY disappointed this last visit. I tried calling to talk to someone about our experience, but got no answer

Tried to give this location no stars but it isn’t an option on this site. The service and food quality is horrible. At this visit, I waited over 25 minutes for a single ‘meal’. Staff person brought out 3 orders, delivering to 3 separate vehicles so I wasn’t too surprised that the fries were cold-not a little cool, but cold. What was a surprise was the 12 inch long hair that was fried into the hamburger. Will not go to this location again and recommend that if you do go here, check the food for hair!!
