Fish House

I ordered the catfish nugget basket and now see nothing but bones in the fish!!!! You should not have to worry about biting into a mouth of bones when eating fried catfish nuggets. It took 2 hours to get this food (i did not order from a 3rd party, I was number 1 at a table) then it came incorrect and full of bones. Go somewhere else. This place is garbage....the owner says there are no bones but look at the picture. There are nothing but bones in this catfish.

I went here yesterday and the food was really good. The staff was so nice and kind. The lady helped me out with the ordering and she was so nice. I signed up at the kiosk and got a free drink and $2 off next order. I ordered 10 piece bone in wings Cajun rub with cabbage and mac and cheese and Catfish Nuggets and fries with spaghetti. It was very filling and so good. The inside looked amazing. I can't wait to go back! 😋

I wish I had something good to say, but the service was terrible. I waited forever at the counter before any employee even acknowledged me.. although they walked past me several times without saying a word. As I was waiting, I had time to notice the monstrosity that is the kitchen… to my surprise a lot of the ingredients were just great value brand. The quality of the ingredients being used does not match up to the prices that are being charged. This is just regular everyday things we all purchase from the same store. There was a collection of dollar tree brand cleaning supplies right there by the cooking area which seems like a health problem or code violation to have chemicals that so close to the food. I noticed one of the employees “washing” a heavily stained household mixing bowl, it could hardly even be called a mild rinse. The bar was very dirty, although there weren’t any customers sitting there. I’m sure the food is okay, but the service and general cleanliness are atrocious. When I was finally approached by an employee they rudely told me to remove my mask because they couldn’t hear what I was saying after I repeated myself many times at an appropriate volume. There are some definite leadership issues, lack of care, poor customer service, and the business seems very generic… much like the ingredients.

I don't always take one but I like to take a picture of the food I order when posting a review of REALLY GOOD FOOD! This time, I just ate it too fast! I had the "New White Fish Nuggets" (mild spice added) With Fries and it was really good. I ordered it online and the process was real simple. They are 10 minutes from where I work so, its easy to get to from there. Food was ready when I showed-up to pick it up.

Got dinner here for the first time today. We got the 1/2 pound catfish platters. Sides we got were potato salad, fried okra, BBQ baked beans, slaw and homestyle potatoes and onions. Everything was very, very good! The catfish fillets were tender and the breading crispy. We'll order from The Fish House again!

Best kept secret in Murfreesboro! Whether you are passing through or have lived here all your life, you need to check this place out! The food is so good - my partner and I shared a sampler trio with cheese sticks, spinach dip, and fried pickles as well as a vegetable plate with baked beans, potato salad, fried okra, and macaroni. We also had the fruit tea. There was nothing we didn't enjoy - we are on a meatless diet currently but that will be ending soon so we will be able to try the main attraction! FISH! We also played Bingo (Mon. & Thurs. at 6 pm) in which we were able to win a $5 gift card to come back. It was so much fun! It is a great place for a date night and to enjoy fun music and good company. I regret not having tried this place sooner. Support local business and try the Fish House!!!
