Paid $15 for this minus a little meats my daughter already ate? China wok USED to be my favorite Chinese restaurant close to home. Since the beginning of 2020, the food quality has gone dramatically downhill: from being my favorite to being one of my most despised. I usually don't post until I have had a few bad meals. At first, early 2020, the chicken was beginning to be "stringy." By mid 2020, It Seems as if they are like all the Chinese restaurants in my tiny Podunk town growing up in the 90s; they would use old, proorly maintain ingredients to save a buck rather than giving their customer the best, within reasonable limits. I could be too hard during these times, but we all know good food is important and we all want the best. After saying the above, you can only hate something in this way after once you loved it. I hope the owners redeem themselves. I hope to find myself journeying there every week once again to get my favorite. NO ONE made it like they did for YEARS!

My favorite Chinese restaurant. I have not been disappointed by anything I have ordered here. All of the chicken, beef, shrimp, and pork has tasted fresh and did not taste cheap or bland, or like it was frozen and heated up in a microwave. The food has been hot & crispy, the chicken is my favorite.. perfectly breaded, nothing has been undercooked, overcooked, or chewy. The sauces all taste homemade. All veggies have been fresh. My favorite thing is the portions... they are HUGE servings and I can get 2-3 meals out of my order. The staff here is also always so friendly, they greet you with a smile, and go above and beyond to make sure your order is correct and that you are satisfied with your food. Even though I couldn’t find a menu online and when you drive by their storefront it looks like a little hole in the wall food place, I’m so glad I took a chance on it because now I eat here once a week. It’s always the little “hole in the wall” places that exceed your expectations👍🏼 10/10 would recommend

Inna Nutshell: Not exactly sure how the rest of their food tastes, but I learned a long time ago that if a Chinese restaurants’ shrimp fried rice {sfr} is not good, they can keep it all. Ordered the sfr today and it was truly low quality. It looked and tasted like boiled white rice with boiled shrimp and a few specs of peas n’carrots throughout. Everyone KNOWS that onions {for those who like} are an essential ingredient in sfr, theirs had little to absolutely none. I prefer spending money on quality food from places that really take pride in what they do and not with people who just throw up a restaurant for the sake of owning a business!!
