Moe's Southwest Grill

I haven’t been here in about 2 years. Moved out of town. Was so happy to come back. The food is still very good and the service is great. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the whole place is very dirty. Usually on a Saturday at 1pm the place would be packed. Only half full today. Hopefully this is a temporary situation.

Food was average, typical for must visits . But more importantly It appears the attempts to have someone managing the place that will uphold cleanliness and organization is still lacking. What happened to Welcome to Moe's and a clean, shining appearance. This is not the time to be off point in our current environment, to many choices and plenty of restaurants that will not make it. The right manager and refresh could really help!

I am assuming this place is going under. There is zero care for cleaning. There is a layer of grease on all the surfaces in the restaurant, no clean tables, soda dispenser has mold on it, floors are sticky as you walk, there is a 1/4 inch layer of greasy dust on all the ceiling fans, grease traps are visibly overflowing, and don't even get me started on the kitchen side. I understand the shortage of staff, but it is not an excuse for not cleaning after hours to assure customer safety and safe food practices. This does not happen overnight. The ownership and management should be ashamed.

I visited this Moe’s a handful of times, mostly during the night shifts (for dinner), so this is a honest and fair review. During every visit, I never ever feel welcomed. It’s almost as if the employees are annoyed that I’m there? No hellos, no greetings, not even a fake smile. Just stares. If I was a first time customer, I think the employees and I would actually have a 2 minute stare down because they never ask things like, “Would you like any veggies?” and etc. Just all eyes, no communication. I always order one meal every visit and it’s always super simple compared to other orders I’ve seen. The atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant is always so dead, dreadful, dark, and depressing… ESPECIALLY at night (I’ve visited during the mid-shift and it was the complete opposite). Trust me, I worked in the food industry and I understand it can be challenging, that’s why you have to make the best of each shift… but the employees look like they all hate each other. Literally. I’ve never heard them joke around or even talk to each other. It’s rarely clean, the salsa bar always looks a mess, the line food never looks fresh, and the food is always lukewarm? The only reason I continued to visit this location is because it’s the only location closest to where I live, but now I’m actually considering making that drive to the next location.

This restaurant has gone so far downhill. The employees don't add ingredients to Togo orders and do not take the " take out to go" orders to the cars like the prompt on the app says. I waited 30 minutes to carry my baby in with me to grab my cold food that had most likely been waiting for the employees to bring it out to me the entire 30 minutes. Very sad in the quality of this restaurant now. 3 years ago this was my absolute favorite place to eat. So disappointing!

The food at this location is so inconsistent. Me and my wife ordered 2 burritos and chips and salsa for pickup today and it was all stale. Beans were hard, Rice was hard, Maybe 5 small pieces of chicken in the burritos Forgot toppings for the burritos Chips were stale Forgot the salsa for the chips… I’m not someone who is quick to complain but I don’t like feeling cheated out of my money.
