Hernadez Mexican Deli

Saw a posting about Hernandez Mexican Deli and knew I had to try it out. I love “street style” Mexican food and these folks did not disappoint. As it was lunch (still need to visit them for breakfast) I went with the Steak Street Taco which included some ranch style pinto beans. Also ordered a side of chips and salsa to munch on while waiting for the main course. The chips and salsa were good, I liked the seasoning on the chips as they were nice and crisp, and the salsa had some heat to it and was thick and flavorful. You could tell the Steak Street Taco's had fermented in a marinade as the flavors were incredible. Loved the addition of raw onion and cilantro, really enhanced the flavors. The pinto beans were solid and the bean sauce was made for dipping the taco into. Overall a really good lunch, quick service, and the price was great. Looking forward to sampling the breakfast menu soon!
