Attended rent party for John McGhee. 3 bands. Enjoyed the music and the music during this event. The Boro is located on Greenland right at Middle Tennessee Blvd. Just a few minutes from my condo in Murfreesboro. College (MTSU) hangout. Funky, small, and smoke filled venue.

The owner here is very friendly and will take care of you.I have been happy every time I've been here.At night they have live bands play.

Visiting Murfreesboro and I had the most fun at this place. The live music was amazing, the staff was attentive with service, and it had a fun crowd of people. Everyone feels concerned with COVID and the need to be cautious, the bar was a very open concept with great airflow that I felt lower the risk. I am not going to stop my life, but I can be smart about where you go and this place meets the grade.

I've grown up on this block, performed at this venue and know it's history pretty well. The Boro Bar and Grill has been around since my parents days of going to MTSU. I give it a 5 star review for being low-key and a good overall dive bar. You get out what you put in when it comes to this bar as a musician. The beer and food is what you'd expect. Rock on!

Good music venue, reasonable prices, cozy dive bar style setting. Outdoor patio. Live local bands great way to support the local scene outside of Nashville proper. Cash only, but there is an ATM.
