Great homemade chicken salad! Staff was friendly and proud of the history of the grill. Famous hotdogs were recommended by the customers. Variety of items are on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommend! Mr. Bill the 30yr owner has it up for sale for $250k for someone looking a small business with deep roots.

Good fried chicken 🍗, with sides and drinks. Reasonably priced, friendly service. And clean rest rooms. Would recommend to all who enjoy a small town dinner or grill.

I love Walter's Grill. Every time I am in Murfreesboro, I make it a part of my trip to eat there. I have always loved their chef salads, but this visit I had the barbecue and candied yams. Delicious! And the hush puppies were perfect. And their sweet tea is rich and sweetened to perfection.
If you are looking for a local grill, stop here and enjoy! I'll eat here again in a heartbeat.
