Nice food here. Everything is well priced. This Rice Workshop has heaps of Japanese street-style fried food, and an expansive menu of rice, udon, ramen and curry dishes. It’s a little mild, so it would be perfect if it was a bit more rich and flavourful.

Usually love it here but so disappointed that they gave me chicken when I ordered salmon karaage. I don’t eat meat so it was a waste of my money and time. I have a feeling they ran out of salmon and opted for chicken instead thinking I wouldn’t mind :/ won’t be back for a while.

food came extremely fast but was disappointed in the amount of substance there was too the tempura prawn udon bowl.

Food is dry and burnt. Horrible Japanese food. I had 2 dishes and they both look like this. If there is a zero for scoring it would be a ZERO. ZERO!

If i see rice workshop i always go in for the salmon dish .and every single time i visit fountain gate rice workshop for salmon dish and they told me they run out. Seriously everytime. The are franchise everywhere in Melbourne. Why is it every fxxcking single time they run out in fountain gate. Take it out on the menu .

Great value for money. Quick Japanese fix. Japanese rice bowls to Udon noodles. Service was good and quick.

Crispy chicken with spicy mayo. With rice and salad. So good.

Excellent food that isn't "white boy" mild. Little bits of kick here and there makes everything pop beautifully.
