Valentino's Ristorante

Intimate dining experience for myself and a work colleague while visiting Nashville. The distinct rooms offer something different in each space. The enclosed outdoor patio area is very spacious for groups/individuals and provides heat during winter nights. The space is dimly lit, so it makes for a great romantic ambiance. We had a party of two for dinner however we did not make reservations. One of our work colleagues recommended the restaurant the day prior. Grant was a superb and attentive host and graciously seated us inside. (Dinner reservations strongly encouraged). I ordered the Garganelli and my colleague ordered the Frutti do Marre paired with a merlot. The food was okay, somewhat bland. I requested a generous helping of parmesan cheese. We shared a tiramisu which was very delightful. Overall, nice dining experience.

Valentino's Ristorante is a Nashville tradition, and remains one of the best fine dining restaurants in Nashville serving a variety of additional Italian dishes. The tableside prepared Caesar salad is perhaps the best I have ever had, the espresso rubbed filet is amazing, and all of the pastas are locally made and sourced. I love the intimate setting of the restaurant, the outstanding food, and most of all the impeccable service. If you have not been to Valentino’s, you have to give this place a try.

Valentino’s Ristorante was recommended to us by one of our Uber drivers. My friends and I were seeking an authentic Italian restaurant. Located within an old house, the atmosphere was perfect..like being in Italy. Our waiter was wonderful.. We loved watching him make our Caesar salad right beside our table. The lobster ravioli was delicious..We were so full that we couldn’t eat dessert.. but we did order a tiramisu to take home with us. It was incredible as well. Whenever you find yourself in Nashville, give Valentino’s a try 😋 📸

Celebrated our anniversary last evening and our experience with the food, service, and ambience was outstanding. Grant was our waiter and he was exceptional, so very attentive yet not intrusive. We also enjoyed his sense of humor very much! Our choices were awesome….the melon and prosciutto was so fresh. The chicken marsala was delicious and the special my husband selected….grilled shrimp, scallops and lobster tail with citrus risotto was exceptional! The Old Fashioned Grant prepared for my husband was the best he has every had and we appreciated the wonderful Tiramisu, it was a special and thoughtful touch. Our dining experience was perfect in every way and Valentino’s Ristorante has become our very favorite Nashville restaurant.

As soon as I walked in the smells were amazing. The fried calamari and the breaded veal was a little over breaded but absolutely delicious. For dessert I selected the bourbon peach sorbet. So delicious. You first tasted the bourbon then you tasted the peach. Excellent! The service was outstanding. We were never rushed and the smaller dining rooms made for an even more enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely be going back.

We're visiting from out of town and chose Valentino's for dinner. It was phenomenal. It's a great space which includes a nice outdoor area. We started with Arancini and Burrata, which were superb. My Garganelli was delicious and my beautiful Italian fiance says the Gnocchi she had was the best ever (aside from her grandma's). We were stuffed, and the only dessert we wanted was Cherries Jubilee, but it wasn't on the menu. However, our fabulous waiter said they had all the ingredients, so he made it table side and it was amazing!

It was fantastic.. from the second you step into the door and you leave it’s enchanting. We were greeted by Kevin who is the most handsome lovely man and taken care of by Grant who took the best care of us along with Alexandra. Freshly made pasta. Everything was delicious! I haven’t ever had better pasta in my life. Thank you all for a fantastic dining experience. See you next time.
