Puffy Muffin Dessert Bakery & Restaurant

If I can describe this restaurant in one word, it would be comfort. This is a very cozy, homey restaurant where the food is delicious, and then you have a bakery with tempting pastries behind you that you can get before you leave! I also think this is cute, but this is where all of the older people go to meet with their friends, so you know it's good! Lots of fresh baked rolls to go with your meal and lots to choose from! Overall, definitely at least stop in to get a pastry.

I am traveling again and by happenstance stumbled upon the Puffy Muffin. I had the loaded potato soup, spinach quiche and the ginger tea. I have never had anything like the ginger tea. It was a delightful combination of tea, ginger ale, orange and lime juice. Totally sweet and refreshing. What really made my visit to the Puffy Muffin spectacular was the BEST biscuit I have ever had. So soft and fluffy, absolutely delicious!!!

ALWAYS a treat when we get to eat @ the Puffy Muffin! So much so, that while in TN for two days, we enjoyed breakfast their both days! Their food is SO freaking yum! And while service is also always friendly, consistent, and attentive, the food is just SO very, very good it's hard to "talk" about other aspects of the business. I'll give it a go: the food - wait, already did that; the service: Mel was an exceptionally sharp-eyed server. Drinks didn't go empty, additional condiments were delivered timely and upon request, ditto the 'go'-box and check. Watching the bakery manager jump in to manage the flow of "traffic" and do table checks (read: not the direct responsibility OF a bakery manager) put a smile on my face and puffed up my service-industry background heart. Observing the bakery crew in action decorating, and their subsequent creations, is always a fun bonus to the meal. Learning what they down-low did for veterans was another endearing experience of the PM. There. I gave it a go. But, back to the food... MmmmMMmmmm...Puffy Muffin. Pancakes as big (and fluffy) as my head...😍

Beautiful cafe in the heart of Brentwood, serving up freshly baked pastries and delicious breakfast and lunch menu items. They're known for their quiche for a reason! The filling is so fluffy with generous toppings and large slices that are well worth your money. Staff was friendly and attentive, and more than happy to explain menu items and make recommendations. Will definitely be a repeat customer if I find myself on that side of town again.

This is a nice southern favorite of the Brentwood area. Our server was a rockstar and took care of so many tables at once. The French toast was lovely. The bakery and to-go section was also nice and stocked with a bunch of goodies. Recommend this place for a quick bite or even a grab and go type of day.

Oh gosh from the moment we walked in this place our taste buds were on high alert. Delicious food and amazing muffins. Plus in the rest of the windows we stood mindless and drulled as they showed off the other desserts ....can we just have one of each please!!! We had breakfast...see pictures. Yum !! We even ordered about 6 mixed muffins for breakfast at our hotel for next morning. Amazing!!!

My recent visit to Puffy Muffin Brentwood was a mixed experience. On one hand, the people working there were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a little tour to show us where they make and decorate their cakes, which was a nice touch. My wife had an egg sandwich and she absolutely loved it. The flavors were delicious and the ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately, I found the pastry I tried to be underwhelming. While it was certainly large, I felt like it was too sweet and that the bakery focused more on quantity over quality. Despite the mixed experience with the food, the atmosphere at Puffy Muffin Brentwood was lovely. It's a cozy little spot with a nice ambiance that makes you feel right at home. Plus, the staff were all very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit all the more enjoyable. Overall, Puffy Muffin Brentwood is a decent bakery with great staff and a warm atmosphere. While the quality of the pastries might not be top-notch, the delicious egg sandwich and the friendly service more than made up for it.
