Cerveza Jack's

If you're looking for a bar with live music on 2nd avenue, then this place will definitely do the trick. Surprisingly clean for a bar, including the bathrooms. The food is only "okay", so just keep in mind that this is more of a place you drink and eat some food versus "dine". Table service was good, overall pleasant experience.

Loved the text mex atmosphere. Little more chill than the large places on the strip. Service was great and the music was even better. Aaron Nichols performed the night we stopped in. I had to take a double take to see if it was Stapleton because of his voice. We are planning on heading back to try food.

Walked past this place while wandering off Broadway, but a guy singing inside (Aaron Nichols) stopped us in our tracks. We went inside to hear him play and absolutely loved the place. We ordered some drinks and hung out for a few hours. The Hoochie Mama blackberry moonshine lemonade bucket was TO DIE FOR good, and we had quesadillas that were so delicious. We went back the next night to hear Aaron play again, and had some more blackberry moonshine. Definitely my favorite stop the entire trip!

There are hundreds of venues in Nashville and we had planned exactly where we were going to go. But when we walked by Cerveza Jack and heard Aimee Jane Williams and Ross Flora, we thought we would stop and listen. And then we stayed and stayed and listened and order some great food and stayed. Best place in Nashville just to hang out. Love the music and food.

Cerveza Jack's is just off Broadway in more ways than one. It is a pleasant step down from the raucous honkey tonks a block away. The down to earth atmosphere is filled with real country music often performed by highly skilled one man acts. The first act we saw was a perfect imitation of Chris Stapleton and the second act seemed to be Bocephus himself. Be sure to scan the QBR code on the table to make a request. It is a smaller single story intimate Tequila and Tacos kind of place. The menu is spot on with all the appetizers you would expect like chips and salsa, nachos, queso fundido, and quesadillas but they have also thrown in BBQ sides and hot chicken making it a uniquely Nashville Taqueria. The list of specialty tacos is long and awesome, with a rotating monthly special one. Drinks of course include a full bar and great beer selection, but their specialty is the scorpion shot that comes with a real scorpion. The best kept secret in my opinion is the extensive selection of tequilas. So be sure to walk a block up from Kid Rock's Honky Tonk and enjoy awesome food, drinks, and country music in a place you can hear each other talk.

Visited 5-13-22... Pretty small bar by comparison to those in the area, single floor and space, stage at the center and bar in between with the restrooms to back and right. Simplistic layout, easy enough to get seated, which is what had appealed us to come in. We wanted to eat, and it offered a rare place to be seated and get served in a timely manner, near the strip. Live music, parr for the course for the area, and he was "OK..." Customer service was phenomenal. Our waiter was quick and pretty on point, so as well as those walking by, who made sure to check on us too, which typically doesn't happen at places. Crowd was extremely broad, but ranged between 30 and 50s, I'd say. Food was delicious, and well worth the price. Nice place just slightly off the strip, but close enough to the action, that served great beer, whiskey, and food. If you're hungry and looking for a spot, highly recommend this one, for the area.

I was looking for a taco place downtown & this place did not disappoint!! Fun to have live music while we were eating. Jordy King was really fun & a great performer. Tacos were delicious!!! Carnitas & Grilled chicken tacos were our favorite. Great flavor & great presentation. Loved the vibes of this restaurant. Went during the day, but I can imagine nights here are really busy. Staff was great & very attentive for drink refills & ordering. 100% recommend to anyone in the area!!
