Shugga Hi

When they say they treat you like family, it's true, not just a motto. This was the first of several future visits. The atmosphere is great with the smooth blues/jazz guitar and singing of Mr. Richards. Sorry, forgot his first name, but you won't forget his music. Food was great. I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the 4 egg omelet. Both meals were fantastic and cooked to perfection. Can't say enough about the friendliness and attention to detail shown by the owners and waitstaff. This will become a regular weekend stomping ground, for the wife and I.

Cannot say enough amazing things about Shugga Hi! From the moment we parked there was a sweet smell coming from the restaurant. Walking in we received a warm welcome from everyone and there were the kindest! Food was absolutely delicious - I highly recommend the chicken & lemon waffle and biscuits and gravy. The atmosphere feels homey and like a big family. To top it off, Alacia LR has a wonderful voice and sang some of my favorite songs the whole meal. Can’t wait to come back :)

I m just going to get right to it atmosphere pleasantness good vibe it was y’all i felt so comfortable here ok let’s talk about the food it was a table of 8 so I had like 3 omelets smh they were just that good 😊 so I’m sorry but everyone else was pleased with there breakfast and dinner brunch it’s a must go to and the story behind the restaurant is amazing I will definitely be back

All we can say is WOW!! We came from out of town wanting to have a relaxing and chill brunch and we found the perfect spot at Shugga HI! All of the staff was friendly and very helpful. There was live music with a very talented guitarist. They even sang happy birthday to my boyfriend! We couldn't have asked for anything more. If you haven't gone to Shugga His yet, what are you waiting for??

Y’all we I say you need to come here, I mean YOU NEED TO RUN OVER HERE. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The chicken and waffles was SO GOOD. The Ribeye with potatoes and grits was perfectly cooked to a medium, just like we asked. Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. Definitely the highlight to our Nashville trip!

The sisters that founded this black owned gem of a place did a great thing! One a baker and the other a lawyer and both did not have restaurant experience! The buffet breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from and the mimosas served at 10am (due to laws prohibiting before that time) were amazing! It feel like home and it was great to fellowship with everyone ❤️
