Taco Mama

One hour free garage parking behind restaurant worked well for a weekday lunch. The ground beef tacos were too salty with melted fat visible within the beef. The toppings while numerous were a little scant as well for what your paying. The complimentary chips were thin, cold and brittle. Salsa was ok and the guacamole as my side was good! Nicely staffed with very helpful folks and the margaritas are good. Next time we will choose some other protein besides the ground beef and my review will be better! This was our second visit. The first time we made better choices.

The chorizo tacos are delicious! I was in town for a week and had the chorizo tacos on two nights. Mi Casa margaritas are tasty. The service was great both visits. There may be a line out the door, but they turn the food and drinks out quickly. There is seating inside as well as outside along the street.

Everything about Taco Mama is a 10/10!!! Actually on a scale of 1-10 they BREAK the scale. This restaurant is so reasonably priced for what you get. Quesadilla cost about $12-13 and you get as many toppings as you want for free. The employees are outstanding, friendly and they behave as if they LOVE their job. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Keep in mind when school starts the place will be Super Busy 24/7 so if you don’t wanna wait in a really long line then I suggest ordering to-go. Otherwise go, wait patiently, enjoy great food and drinks and have a good time! ☺️💕 don’t be one of those annoying people that say stuff like “the line is so long it’s taking forever”… of course it is … THIS PLACE ROCKS. 💗💗💗

Taco Mama is absolutely fantastic! Love the service, the staff are so friendly and amazing. The atmosphere is amazing with great music taste, and the food is soo yummy. We actually had this place twice in a row because it's just so delicious and well reasonably priced. Why go to the cafeteria when you can get way better food for cheaper! They aren't shy about the amount of food they give you too. Can't wait to come back here again!

Often go here when we decide to eat out for lunch. It's within walking distance and it's quick along with a reasonable price. There is a wide menu here and you should have no problem finding something you like. Fish tacos, chicken or steak burritos and tacos, you can also get the burritos as a bowl! They have a full bar! And all kinds of FREE add ons! I have never had bad service while dining in and have always been greeted with a smile. They have many people walking around the restaurant to help people with what they may need. For example, help with the menu while in line, trash taken away, refills, additional items, etc. The food has always tasted good and haven't had a bad side item there. However, I have had on multiple occasions my order was wrong. So watch out for that. They are always quick to fix it and try to do their best to make it right. Other than that it's a great option in this part of town.

This Taco 🌮 place transports you into a different vibe as soon as you enter — with its dim lit chic decor and lively atmosphere. There was a long line even late into the afternoon on Sunday, which for me, is a good sign when I visit a place for the first time. The line was well worth it. I ordered a burrito bowl and customized it with ingredients of my choice. I thought the ingredients were of high quality and each of them individually made were well-crafted and tasty such as mild salsa ranchero and guacamole. Chicken was also freshly made and cooked to perfection. Finding street parking can be tricky in this area. There is an outdoor area to sit however, it’s not as pretty as inside or some of the outdoor areas of other places. Overall, I loved it and would absolutely go there again.
