Edit: came by a third time and had a much better experience. The food was better. Come try the brunch menu. This review is based on two visits to this restaurant. The service is great, our waitress today, Mackenzie, was awesome. But, the food both visits was just not good. The chicken fried chicken my Dad and I each got were both absolutely obliterated and overcooked. The other person in our parties chicken tenders were flavorless. The grit cakes were bland. The dirty rice balls and French fries were good. Everything else was extremely meh. I’m giving this place a 3 because it’s such a Nashville staple that I’m hoping I’ve just had two bad experiences but otherwise it’s good. I won’t be coming back though.

Family lunch and some of the best chicken we have had. Got the hot chicken and cheddar burgers and the half bird (Nashville hot). Fantastic portions and flavor. This isn’t like Hattie B’s or Prince’s which has become a cookie cutter chain. Party Fowl felt higher quality and care overall. To finish it off, the best banana pudding served on a waffle was perfect! Loved this place and will always come back each time we visit Nashville.

We always enjoy breakfast here. Food is reliably good. The biscuits felt like leftovers this time and the dish was missing gravy. We understand sometimes things don’t go perfectly. We will be back. The manager, Dave stopped by and gave us free Strawberry Jalapeno Jam and Cinnamon Whiskey Apple Butter for being one of the first ten to come through the door. That was cool! We will see y’all next time.

Husband really wanted Nashville hot chicken and after researching decided on here, went on a Saturday night plenty of people but didn’t have to wait for table unlike Queuing up downtown. I went for the grilled salad medium as not so much a fried food fan and it was super nice, husband hat the hot chicken, level hot and loved it, although halfway through was dying with the heat as ate the Texas toast which was smothered in hot sauce. The staff had to get him milk lol- don’t eat the toast.

Visited the Donelson location a few times now! Great atmosphere and service and the restaurant was busy and clean. The food is good; just over cooked making it a little difficult to eat. There is also more seating inside than their parking lot allows. Would visit again, but would not order the Po Boy (bread way to hard).

Food was delicious!! We had Half Chicken classic and Loaded biscuits hot chicken brunch. Highly recommend the loaded biscuit chicken brunch. Chickens were cooked perfectly, potatoes really flavorful, plus eggs, gravy and biscuits! yummy combination. Everything on that plate was GOOD. Katie was our server and she’s super welcoming and nice. We really enjoyed here!!

This place was recommended and we were just passing thru, and it was awesome! Service was really good. I love the tiny ice cubes in the drinks, especially important for sweet tea! We got the chicken nachos and the fried dough dessert (you know that French word that I can't spell!) The atmosphere was great. Can't wait to go back when we come thru Nashville again!
