Meet Noodles

Food is authentic Chinese. Service is good. But the restaurant itself needs some work. It is a bit depressing inside. We like the pork chops, the sesame balls, and pumpkin pies there. It is nothing compared to restaurants in bigger cities but for Nashville this place is one of my go to Chinese food places.

Situated near Belcourt, we couldn't resist a visit to Meat Noodle. Upon entering, the special of the day, Duck noodles, caught my attention due to my fondness for duck dishes. My companion went for the tomato sirloin noodle bowl. To begin, we ordered a seaweed appetizer that pleasantly surprised us. The duck, though flavorful, contained quite a few bones. The sirloin proved delectable and both dishes had exceptional broths. The experience was positive enough to warrant a return visit in the future.

Met up with a few friends in Nashville and we decided to try Meet Noodles. We were all glad we did! Our server was very nice. And the food was delicious. I got the Beef Brisket rice and loved it! The prices were all decent as well. If you're looking for a nice, quiet place to eat, this is a good choice.

Delicious place. Very cozy vibe, simple decor. The waitress spoke kindly, calmly, and softly and there was nice jazz music in the background. Ambiance definitely a 10/10 I ordered the mango milk tea which was perfect, not too sweet. I ordered Kim’s Beef noodles which was yummy, i added a bit of chili at the table later. Soothing food for a warm summer evening. Will be back 😊

We came for a quick lunch before heading to the airport. It wasn't the quickest but it was delicious and definitely cured our hangover. We got three things: - pork & chive dumplings: came with 8 pieces and a soy sauce cup. they were homemade and were great! - Shanxi sliced noodles: came with beef shank and bok choy in tomato beef broth. The broth was a little thin/watery but the noodles were wide and chewy - spicy sour noodles: came with ground beef, peanuts, pickled mustard stems, intestine in a spicy sour broth with sweet potato noodles. The noodles were a tad overcooked for me but the broth was great. It's heavy on the black vinegar with a light chili oil. I would definitely come back to try other dishes like the popcorn chicken if I'm ever in Nashville again! There were a couple of open metered parking spots on the street.

My mom spoke Chinese with the waitress who took order for us, but the waitress ignored her. The waitress kept speaking English who, by the way, was a Chinese, couldn't even take my order in English...... She's very rude and disrespectful. However, I would give 5 star for the food. It's pretty authentic, except the noodles are machine made, not handmade. I will probably ask them to do 1/2 salt next time, it's very salty. I drank 2 bottles of water and a cup of tea afterwards....... Overall, the food is good but the service....

Meet Noodles provided excellent food in a comfortable and authentic environment. The portions were plentiful and the dishes were flavorful. I had a cup of hot rose tea that was fragrant, sweet, and unique. The Steak Noodles dish had so many layers of flavor. The broth was hearty with a light spice to it. The steak was tender, and the baby bok choy was not over cooked; still had a freshness and light crunch to it. And, of course, there were plenty of noodles! 🍜 I will definitely be back to try other unique offerings.
