Leg quarter was so good, I ordered a second one still standing in line. Yes, the parking is a bit awkward, but well worth it for the food. The baked beans were incredible, so was the mac and cheese. I got no lies to tell. I'll be back!

The shoulder sandwich is the best pulled pork I ever had in my life. Fantastic place. All the sides are delicious, love the spaghetti and corn nuggets. The chicken quarters are great. Fried Oreos are amazing. Yeah this place is a regular stop

Stopped by this week on my first trip to Nashville and enjoying Fred’s ribs was the best! Appreciated his hospitality and conversation.

Man, that shoulder sandwich was just so hearty and whole. The aftertaste floats along with you for an hour, it’s just that tasty.

Wonderful and fun staff working hard with lots of flavorful options. It's a drive up place where you wait outside but I loved their interactions with us and other customers. I've never had corn nuggets before here and loved them. Everything is cooked to order and BBQ so succulent with flavored sauces. Lots of historical moments in this area which meant a lot to me. Those Mahalia pies were good too!!!

I’m from Chicago but have been residing in Nashville for some time now, although
I’m still very picky about my baked macaroni n cheese and catfish, it’s a up north thing lol
but hands down This Restaurant has the best Catfish cooked to perfection in the WHOLE CITY OF NASHVILLE, it is literally delicious and you get big fillets with unmatched flavor and I have been to a lot of fish/seafood restaurants in Nashville but this is A1!
The BAKED macaroni n cheese takes me back to my roots Omg 🙏🏾
Thank you so much for this experience can’t wait too come back, even though I just left 🙌🏾

The owner was so nice!! Sat and talked with us and shared his journey into the restaurant business!! Best bbq in Nashville!!!! Will be dreaming about this bbq for years to come!! Can’t recommend enough

It's a shack, and we all know that's the best place to find the real good food. Best ribs I've had here in Nashville the past 9 months. Fall off the bone? Check. Them bones fall off themselves. Meat is tender, well seasoned, and still moist. Those baked beans are worth every penny. Will be back.
