So the food was ok but just seemed to be thrown together. Our server was obviously overwhelmed with too many tables but she managed well. My biggest complaint was that there was a sign on the wall about the register that said cashless pay only but when they feared a power outage, they managed to come around and ask us to pay ahead and then accepted cash, so I was a little confused on that bit all in all a decent spot.

Shoney's has become a Thanksgiving tradition for us. At times the line at the buffet is slow and long. The food is just what you'd expect at a buffet. They were good at keeping up with refreshing pans as they got empty. Our server was good at getting our drink order when we sat down. After that we had to wave her down to get refills. Since they are card only, when we were done she brought over the credit card machine to our table. She said she preset it at 20% tip, but we could change it to 18%. I rely wanted to say how rude it was to say that to her. I wish I had the sense to tell her that and give her the tip ahe deserved, about 10%.

Love this Shoney’s by the Nashville airport. I have visited this location for lunch buffet on several occasions but never had the chance to try breakfast buffet. Today is my day off so I decided to give it a try. 🙂 Came in about hour after opening. Place was welcoming and mellow atmosphere was something you don’t usually see as most places have that rush/stress feel. House was about 80% full. All food was delicious and fresh. French toast sticks and blueberry muffins extra delicious. Had ice tea (half and half) and it also tasted very fresh, every time my glass was half way I was asked if I care for another one. Overall I must say, I’m coming back. 5 stars ⭐️ from me is must!!
