Johnny Cash's Bar & Bbq

We swung in here to catch some music and have a drink. It's a great place. We really enjoyed the band and came back on the 2nd night as well and the other band was just as good. Service was good at both bars and a much more laid back atmosphere at least while I was there than many of the other bars that are more like being back in college.

Nice Nashville type Honky Tonk bar. They have good BBQ too. The live music was hit or miss. I expected a little more with the Johnny Cash name attached. Maybe that's why it was never really as busy as other nearby spots. Not BAD live music. But by Nashville standards...a little lacking. Other than that, a nice place to hang out for a few beers, and still be able to have conversations with others.

We recently hosted a private corporate event upstairs at Johnny Cash's Bar and BBQ and our guests had the absolute best time. The venue was beautiful and unique and the staff at this place is spectacular - all friendly, willing to serve, and hard workers. They made our guests feel welcome and comfortable and were on top of the service. The staff really took care of us, that personable hospitality you don't get in too many places now. The band! Wow. We had the Mike Riley band play and this show was top notch. Full of energy, incredible talent, and connected with our group of all ages, song requests, and personalities. They were fantastic. We had a private viewing in a spacious and comfortable environment with great food and drinks, why would we need to venture anywhere else. This was truly special.

We walled into the bar area was greeted by Emily the bar tender. Very friendly and very nice!! We asked about a few drinks and was told about them. She did talked to us a bit as she was taken care of others!! We felt very comfortable with her there. This is the frist time we were in this bar!! We always stayed on the main road. Now this place we will be back to see Emily again. She knew all around the area what's going on. She has made our day on 10-10-23 . Thank you again!!

We had a wonderful time, great live music the service was excellent the bartender even on a busy Friday night was able to keep up with everyone ordering and did not miss anyone. The upstairs bar has a beautiful bar and mural of John and June's lakeside home with beautiful dark woodwork throughout this is definitely a stop for anyone visiting the Broadway area.

This is a great restaurant with 2 stories and live music on both. They are kid friendly during the day. The Nashville Hot Fried Chicken is great, but the fries are also very good. The brisket was good but not great. We all like the waffle like fry's. The portions are a good size. My only complaint is there are no beers on tap.
