I love this place. For the last several years I’ve ordered here consistently at least once a month and it’s always delicious. Smoked Salmon roll always a must for me, best in town, hands down. Anything with spicy tuna in it too is a definite win too.

Everything was absolutely delicious! The chicken dumplings were a highlight of the meal. The service was excellent. I wish we were local, because if we were this would be a regular spot for us! Very clean, friendly service, and everything about the meal was perfect, from the miso soup to the spicy tuna roll, to the fried rice. Highly recommended!

I’m sitting at Dear Sushi so impressed with my meal that I had to stop and review. The service is speedy, welcoming and kind! The food far exceeds any expectations I had for strip mall sushi spot - in presentation and taste! We’re all satisfied and glad we stopped off at this cute little shop!

This little place deserves a lot more love. The owners here are so kind and hospitable! Their sushi is SO fresh and top-tier quality. The fatty, “melt in your mouth” salmon blew me away. Try it yourself.

Dear Sushi made the ‘Where to eat sushi in Nashville” list on Eater so I had to try it. Since I had read it is quick service & in a very small strip mall place I thought it might be lower priced. It was fairly comparable with many local places but the portions are bigger.
Everything was really good. Not skimpy with the fish and not to heavy on the rice or sauces. The place is very clean and the staff friendly. We had the ell roll, spicy tuna, shrimp tempura & salmon nigiri & this very full tray was all of that. Went with my teenage son & still had leftovers. It’s in a really weird spot in Donelson but worth the trip.
