Taste Of Punjab

I went to this restaurant at 12:30 pm after confirming the opening which was 12.00 pm But they didn't start the starter until 1 pm so overall everything was super late. It took us around 2-3 hrs to leave. Food taste is just okay okay.. But its fun outing to go with friends on birthdays new years etc

I got amazed with the decor I saw on Google, so I always wanted to visit this place. They had the old sewing machines as the tables, big saucepans to hang the lighting and tiffins dabbas, small tractors as decor. Their food was really tasty. The starters were a bit spicy, good for me but not for my friends. Not many people can handle the heat. The variety of food was also good. I liked malai chicken, cheeze balls, paneer, fish, mushrooms and mutton seekh kabab. In the main course also they had good variety..I liked sarso saag they had also put a lot of home made butter with that...that was a plus. It reminded me of when I visited Amritsar. I also liked tawa pulav, bhindi, noodles, paneer and chicken biryani. The main thing here was the main course was also tasty unlike the other famous buffet restaurant, where we only concentrate on the starters. In sweets I liked phirni and gulab jamun. I felt the options were a bit less. They also had chat there that was also good. There staff was also very nice and helpful. They were able to give a good feeling of punjab with all those food and the wonderful Punjabi bhangra in almost every 30 mins or so. I enjoyed a lot. Though I felt it was a bit expensive but in all.. it was really a nice experience.

Very happening place. Good for families and kids. There will be a dance performance for 15mins every hour. Typical Punjabi vibes. Good variety of dishes both in veg & nonveg. Been here 2 times with family. Frnds & couples will njoy if happening environment is required. Weekends it is more fun. On weekdays it is very calm. Not sure about the dance performance on weekdays. Overall good experience. All Indian dishes & desserts.
