Being a malvani myself we always used to prepare malvani food at our home. The taste has been replicated to perfection by the restaurant. During weekends just ensure that you reach as early as possible or else be ready to wait for minimum 20-30 mins. Almost all the dishes we ordered were very well prepared. The service part is something that can be upped. It was actually an error on my part to ask whether gajar halwa can be served and the bit-irritated waiter responded that how can I serve something that is a seasonal dish. As a foodie I have been to quite a lot of restaurants and I feel that the waiter could had been a bit polite in responding. Maybe he was quite tied up with the people inside the restaurants and hence a bit stressed. Something that can be excused.

Today we had got to there for Lunch the taste was absolutely amazing and the service was too good and on time they served us extra free solkadi and the atmosphere here was also too good as it is designed with a mixture of modern and konkan. The Quality of the food is amazing and the prices are also good. The Quantity the give is the best compared to others.

The eatery Kokan Swad is a true gem located in Seawoods. You are welcomed inside with kind hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere right away. The place serves the best authentic Malvani Thalis. The ambience and service is also good. They also have a party table which is suitable for 8-10 people at a time. I recommend mostly visiting during lunch and dinner hours. In frame: Special Chicken Thali Pomfret Fry Thali Chicken Crispy Dry You can also opt for Desi Chinese which is also better in taste. Only the lacking point, according to me, is a little high price for the thalis as per the quantity. However, it was overall a good experience.

Visited Konkan Swad almost four years of its opening and what a great experience!! We ordered Chicken, Mutton and Fish thaali, every item in every dish was amazing! Great decore, great ambiance and great vibes. Sudam was excellent and so was rest of the staff. Total value for money. Best wishes. Go visit!
