Cooper's Old Time Pit Bar-b-que

As Texas BBQ goes Coopers stands out in a crowded field. BBQ places are all over the place. I tried a little bit of several things. I had a little brisket, very good, a beef rib, really good, and some jalapeño sausage which was great. I enjoyed the coleslaw but the standout among the sides was the jalapeño bacon 🥓macaroni. The beans were really good to. On a previous visit I tried the peach cobbler and it was quite tasty. Mr bro bro also tried the turkey and he said it was really tender and juicy. I took some home to the wife and it she loved it.

This was a nice, family friendly restaurant. Good atmosphere and lots of room. Unfortunately, (and I don't know if it was just that my taste buds are off or something?) the food was just okay. I found the bbq sauce really watery and for me the taste just wasn't there. All in all a nice place to eat. But definitely not the best bbq in Texas

I'm not a meat eater so a review from me seems like what a waste of time but I do have meat eater friends and one is my husband. They had the rib eye, baby back, and sausage. They loved the way the meat was cooked. Tasty and flavorful. They weren't impressed with the sauce. What I heard was on the vingar side. Still everyone enjoyed there meal including me and my baked potato with corn on the cob and beans. If you're in the are worth a stop.

Customer service is definitely out of this world. Cleanliness of the establishment both in the dining room and bathroom outstanding. Customer service was excellent in definitely again outstanding. A little on the pricey side but the price is definitely worth the food their food was out of this world. I would highly recommend if you're in new braunfel to stop by Coopers BBQ and enjoy yourself just some awesome BBQ.

I like this place. They seldom are out of food that we want and we can usually get beef ribs even late in the day. They have a large selection of side dishes that I appreciate because that is mostly what my kids want. Good dessert selection too. A little pricey but it's good food. They have a lot of seating but there are blocked off sections due to Covid.
