Myron's Prime Steakhouse

I’m giving this steakhouse 4 stars instead of 5 only because of one issue with service—I don’t want to dwell on it too much because it wasn’t a huge ordeal, but when you’re spending $400 on wine and dinner for 2, you expect nothing but outstanding service. To be clear, the issue with service is only due to the time it took for someone to greet our table—It was more than 5 minutes, which it should be almost immediately at a nicer establishment, such as this one. I will say, the service was fantastic after the initial greeting. Food was amazing, wine selection was just okay. All in all, I’ll be back!

Took the family here (4 of us) and spent $350. Steaks were OK. Appetizers were $14.00 each for 5 shrimp cocktail and four small stuffed mushrooms. Salad was a small amount of lettuce with dressing, that's it folks. Give me a break. A head of lettuce is $ 0.79 at HEB. A side, like baked potato is $10.00 freaking dollars. There isn't a baked potato in America worth $10.00. OVERPRICED. And not even decent. This was a joke. Not sure what all these other reviewers are smoking but it must be good. McAdoo's Seafood Company next door had a two hour wait and there were lots of people waiting outside (that's what we came for originally). We were just the dummies that decided to go to this joke of a steakhouse. They got us good. Feel like I've been literally robbed. How the hell does this place stay open.

Tonight(10/3) and our server Laurie was amazing. We were all over the place with ordering and she was patient, understanding and helpful. There was a specific wine we wanted that was unavailable yet she recommended an amazing alternative in taste and price point. We ordered appetizers and desserts then main courses and additional desserts. I can not recommend this place enough. You will never regret coming here.

First time and it didn't disappoint. We had reservations and 2 minutes after walking in the door were seated at a large booth for 4 but it was perfect for 2 with a lot on the table. Started with cocktails and scallops with chutney, suggested by Nicholas, that were exceptional. We had the bone in filet rare and the Grill Mix with stuffed tomatos and green beens. Everything was perfect. Regular table clearing between courses and constant follow up. Finished with coffee and creme brulee which was fired very tastily. Will go again and at check out the bar area we completely missed on the way in. Great spot. Highly recommend.

We have been to the San Antonio location a bunch and always have great service and food. This location was not as good. The filet had no flavor and was tough to cut. My husbands ribeye was bland. The service was mediocre. I’m hoping it was just a bad night and plan to try the San Antonio location again
