Union Station Diner

We were looking to get something small in a local spot. We’re glad we found this little gem! The staff was very friendly and inviting. We especially enjoyed the train theme throughout the diner. The food was very good! Our waffles were airy and crispy on the edges; perfection. This is what I envision at a local diner! Recommend!

This is a must stop is you are in the area for breakfast! Start with the cinnamon roll with pecans, but be sure to have someone to share it with. I ordered 2 biscuits with the sausage gravy couldn't finish 1 but they serve it as the picture us shown so was able to take the leftovers home was an added bonus. The coffee keeps coming always got and fresh and EVERYONE who works there is just so friendly and helpful they all made it a breakfast to remember!

We tried this for breakfast this morning. I had one of the most tender chicken fried steaks. The gravy was tasty along with a side of grits, scrambled eggs and a fluffy biscuit a very complete and filling breakfast. Another person in our party had french toast with whipped cream and bananas, looked and tasted great. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive. Coffee was kept filled and it was good. Railroad decor gave it a homey feeling. I would definitely go back for more.

On our way out of town, we were craving some breakfast food and a local establishment. This place appeared to work because it ticked the boxes, and it is train themed! There is a little model train that runs at the top of a portion of the ceiling. It only runs when "the boss" is there to operate it though. There is some outdoor seating, and nice waiting area outside. The inside is a little small and felt a little too small for current COVID19 restrictions. Waitresses had masks and all patrons had them on when they weren't seated at their tables. The food was plentiful and super reasonably priced. I had a 4 ingredient omelette with hash browns and a pancake for 8.99. It was delicious by the way. The kid's menu also has some good options for them including a smiley face pancake. They are doing take-out right now as well if you aren't interesting in dining in. They are super friendly, and super patient (needy family here). We will go back when we are in town.

This place is so amazing I had to write a review. To start the wait isn’t more than 15 minutes. The hospitality and service is amazing . The food is home cooked and soooo good. Me and my fiancé will definitely be back tomorrow before we leave town. 5 stars across the board. The food is very good ( I’m super picky) everything was amazing .

Amazing, amazing, amazing. The food, as my daughter said is "made with LOVE!" From the ham and cheese omelette, pancakes, home fries, burger, or chili and cheese fries. Everything was amazing. High quality food, with an amazing atmosphere. The service is top notch. I'm not from the area but anytime I pass by I will definitely be coming in.
