Hometown Burger

The burger I got was pretty decent, but I asked for no tomatoes and ranch on the side and I didn't get either of those things, and the sweet potato fries were tasty but a little burned. It took a while to get our food and it seemed like maybe some of our food was made before other ones because my fries were kind of cold. Also, a lot of the tables had salt and other things on them and needed to be wiped off. Other than that, the atmosphere, music, and food were all pretty good! I would eat here again.

Great old-fashioned burgers and fries! The onion rings are hand dipped in their specially seasoned homemade batter. Best we've ever had! The service was great and timely. If you like onions be sure to ask them to add them to your burger as they don't come standard. My husband also had chili-cheese fries and really liked them.

Arrived and in line to order at 1today. Ordered at 1:15 food came to the table 33 minutes later. Completed the meal and still had to wait 13 additional minutes for them to make the milkshake that was ordered with the meal. Hamburger was good and hot and onion rings were great. They either need to hire another person just for the drinks or put it on the counter for self serve. They still need 1 dedicated person making milk shakes. Took way to long for a hamburger and milkshake!

I brought my mom here for her first visit the other day and she loved it as much as I thought she would. She kept going on about the size of the burger patty, which impressed her. The low prices also impressered her. And the food was terrific! This is my Number One rated burger in New Braunfels and my mom agreed! I recommend Hometown Burger to everyone!
