Mamoun's Falafel

Combo plate with falafel, rice, hummus and chicken kabob tasted delicious. Classic vegetarian sandwich and falafel tasted great. Asked order without tomatoes but they added, when asked they were happy to replace my order. Get a side of hot sauce to enjoy better. Shawarma sandwich was bit dry. Mabrumeh and baklava tasted yummy.

Overall - the food is not quite good enough to revisit. Positives - the staff are wonderful, the seating is well spaced out for COVID, the service is quite fast Needs improvement - the outside of the falafel were extremely dark and tasted smokey so I suspect the oil used to fry it was old and created the color, the falafel balls varied in size by a lot, the shawarma platter was mediocre and the meat lacked depthy

Kinda disappointed by my last visit. I was a HUGE supporter of Mamoun's but this last visit was not good. Everything was super salty. The lamb was extremely salty and the rice was extremely salty. My husband and I could only get through half our food and couldn't eat the rest. I was super thirsty the rest of the night. I'm hoping they had an off night but I haven't been in quite some time since I moved out of the New Brunswick area. Its unfortunate because it was a well-priced vegetarian option for me. I was also disappointed that the min lemonade was made with dried mint bits? I was hoping for a sprig of fresh mint for the $3+ price point?

Went there on Sunday with my good friend, ordered two vegetable falafels with no tomatoes. Simple order, in one of them there was tomatoes, and then in the other there was no sauce so it was very dry and hard to eat, when I addressed it to one of the workers all they did was say sorry and that was it. Terrible customer service will not come back here ever again please save your money and go somewhere else

I love this place, the falafels are just amazing. I was told to try the sandwich this time around. I had the Manhattan falafel sandwich and a side of fries "which was a very skimpy portion" most of the fries seemed to be from the bottom. The sandwich was great, a nice soft pita and falafel in every bite. I will be back of course and highly recomend.
