Aslam Chicken

This is one of the old gems of old Delhi, their butter chicken (not traditional butter chicken) is USP. Which contains lots of butter and roasted chicken with some masala. It is a bit sour and not very spicy but has a unique taste. Now they have one more new outlet at JAMA masjid gate no. 1 which has a good seating capacity. You can enjoy their butter chicken with rumali roti. On weekends and holidays, you will find a big crowd there so have some extra time.

Always crowded, expect seat sharing. Good thing is they have good management and enough space so distribute customers. Tried their famous butter chicken with roomali roti, wasn't disappointed. It's literally dipped in butter so if you are health conscious please avoid. Quite economical. Would visit again. Worth it.

The exact location is this place is in the front of Gate No.1 of Jama Masjid. In the same street you will also find Al Jawahar. The place is good for delicious kebabs and butter chicken. The quantity and quality both are very good even though a half butter chicken is sufficient for two people. The service is quick and fast. At times there is a waiting to get a seat but they have a good and big seating capacity on the 1st floor. The total bill was 550 for two people which is decent and the quality is best. For sweets you can try many shops outside.

A very very popular place near Jama Masjid mainly for kebabs and different food items as well. A very busy restaurant. One has to wait for nearly 10 minutes to get a seat in this restaurant . Their kebabs were just awesome. The pieces of kebabs were very soft and juicy . It's a must try restaurant in Delhi !! Highly recommended !!

Aslam's famous Butter Chicken is worth trying. The Butter Chicken is delicious albeit extremely unhealthy. There usually is some wait in between batches where food is served. The restaurant spreads over mutli-stories and is kept relatively clean. However it does tend to get bit over-crowded and chaotic.

Typical North Indian flavour.. Their signature dish is Butter Chicken which is prepared differently from traditional butter chicken. It's marinated grilled chicken dipped in tons of butter, sprinkled with chat masala. It tasted awesome. Before coming here forget calorie counter at home and enjoy the lip smacking butter chicken. Definitely worth visiting. I had lunch here chicken was tender and fresh. To reach here, never come in car, board a metro and hire a rickshaw. PS: You can't have it frequently because it is overloaded with butter 😋
